Feel you're inlet and outlet hoses. With the engine at operating temp (190-200) you should barely be able to hold on to the inlet hose. If the core is not partially plugged, the outlet should be pretty hot also, just not as much. Inlet vacuum valve open all the way? Is the engine reaching...
I did not see this extra info mentioned. Make sure the hole in the block, (the sealing surface is clean from rust and debris) sandpaper will work. You can put some sealer (FIPG) on the circumferance of the plug before installing for some extra insurance. A properly sized socket works well, it...
Rally lights are located 20 minutes from my house. I bought alot of stuff from them. Here is what I run. Hella H4, E-code glass, clear osram bulbs in the stock wattage and aimed. No blue bulbs period, whiter light is not better light. I own four vehicles and the supra lights are the best hands...
There are some things to check. Two years is a long time to not run a boot on you're rack. You can count the turns, but that's not always accurate. Do this job right! If you like you're car and have plans on keeping it here is what I recommend. 1st replace both boots. 2nd Make sure the inner...
Cya, thats the right signal. I just checked mine with a VOM hooked up at the diagnosis block. Input 2, just as you said. Now I need someone to explain to me how I can buffer that signal so it's a little more stable. Thanks!
I have the blue wire hooked up on mine. The SAFC is the newer Apexi version. I can't tell you where I hooked it to the harness (VF wire coming out of the ECU)because I don't have the manual in front of me. I cannot get any reading anywhere I look on my SAFC screen. What does this tell you? I...
I run the porterfield pads with brembo blanks. The brakes work excellent. Firm and quiet. My only complaint is that they are very dirty, and one of the reasons I bought them is the reveiws on their clean appearance. I would hate to see dirty brake pads.
The oil in the housing is coming up the shaft and past the internal seal. these can be purchased seperately, but not from toyota. use search and you will find out the info.
Robert, try this. Sometimes the ECU can take a while to re-learn the proper settings. I sorta just went thru this when i made my ECU silly stupid. After about 50 miles, I am now at 2.5 on my VF and about 14.4 on my ratio during normal cruise. my idle is a smooth 750.
