What kind of pin do i need to replace into the drive gear? I used my old one. But, Napa can hook you up with the proper size. If the pin Napa supplies is too long you can just gring off the excess.

Hal, Clean the housing and shaft with carb clean. make sure there are no burrs on the shaft, especially around the drift pin area. They will tear you're new seal. Also the cover and gasket are probobly cracked- hard. They can be purchased at toyota for cheap.

Whats next? Using rubber band to hold the wastegate flapper shut so you can get more boost? Man, I gotta look into that. I can get free rubber bands from where I work! What works best, the red ones or the brown?

Matter of fact, take that oil return line, put it in a vice (gently) and flat file the sealing surfaces and you're golden.

factory toyota has what you need. I bought them there. Fix it once, fix it right. That's not the place to take short cuts. IMHO
