Apparently the igniter from a 2J will work too so it should be easier to find one of those to try.
Thet are expensive so try and swap one first before you buy one.

This kit looks promising but the manifold isn't out yet.
You will have to check the fuel pressure to rule it out.
Have you tried a different igniter yet? pulled the plugs on the igniter and checked for recessed pins? If the harness was extended you should see how it was extened i.e. spliced, soldered or twisted togeter and covered with electrical...
Have you driven the car to see the results yet? The reason Im asking is that the Nylon gear is dependent on the inner drive gear.

I had a recent issue simular to yours and it was the front cam sensor plug wasn't locked on. The old...

Pin 1 on ALT is white (you have them going correct) (your calling pin 1 pin 3)
Pin 2 on ALT is Y-G (yellow with green stripe) should go to your charge light
Pin 3 on ALT is B-Y ( black with yellow stripe) should go to AM1 on engine fuse box. (your calling pin 3 pin 1)...
I guessed it was the lower impedence, never thought they were gummed up. The owner of the shop that told me he had "His Friend" clean and flow test them won't return my calls so lesson learned.
I could run an AFC neo or go standalone but Im in the middle of escrow and I can't afford that project for the moment till I find out my finances on the mortgage and utilities so I'm sticking with the 440's, they are working fine and thank you Mr. gurley0916
