Great article but what do you do with the turbo compressor outlet? block it off or just T it to the B source? He never mentions that, just says to move to B.
Well just so we don't have another thread un-resolved Ill tell what the problem was. The PCV valve I replaced about a year and a half ago which was a 2J PCV from Toyota was gummed up so I installed a new one and it isn't smoking anymore. Now I can sit in traffic happily idling away and not be...
One of the reasons I'll never get a small car. The Range Rover Sport that did this had some crumpling on the front end but was gone when I took these after work.
Sounds like what happened to me when my caps in the stock ECU went right after my swap. If you have the stock ECU pop the cover off and look for any capacitors leaking, if there is any leakage clean it with isopropyl alchohol so the board doesn't get eaten up.
Also see if you have codes but it...
Hope you moved the intake from the top of the turbos. The way thats setup Your not getting any velocity from the air going through an intake which would add power, and would be a tad cooler.
The hyd brake system in the 750 , early 735 and 850 would be to complicated to install. Besides the master cylinder with "Hydroboost" and pump (two versions, 735 and 750 had self leveling rear shocks, 850 normal) and a 2 part pressure regulator/accumulator. The accumulator or "Brake bomb" holds...
Is that with the 440's?
What muffler are you running?
I have an 88 750il and would never attempt a swap in that. However, the 750 and 850 both use a hydraulic brake booster that runs from the power steering pump since you had an issue with the vacuum booster.
The large one is the EA2 plug that connects to the JZA70 fuse box, the small one I'm not sure but mine had 12V switched power on one of the pins, but from the photo is also goes to the fuse box for the JZA70. I picked that photo up somewhere on the net when I did my swap.
