I have ordered some Bilstein BSN-24-011259 from summit racing and am going to get the threaded Shock Sleeve to make them coilover springs but need to know what a good spring rate for this setup is.
The wires that are in the bottom of the overflow res are connected to the level sensor that turns the rad light on and off. Those wires are not part of an engine swap.

You can convert your own here from your regular Bilstein's, you would need more parts to complete it of course. Technically you could just add this piece and custom adjust your perch with the nut ride adjuster.
The springs have to come off for the height adjustment. You are adjusting the spring perch to seat the bottom of the spring higher or lower, it has 3 adjustments.
Apparently the STA wire sees a ground all the time through the Starter relay and the NSW wire sends 12 volts to the starter from the ECU when the soarer transmission is in park or nuetral through a logic circuit in the ECU. So your starter circuit must have been wired up differently where it...
That would be a problem in a supra as the NSW wire and the STA wire will have 12 Volts on them through the ignition switch and if you short those wires to ground you will blow the 40A FL AM1 fuse when you start cranking the car. The vehicle in the thread you posted is a Toyota Landcruiser.
Welcome to SM,
Nice find, glad its outta the weeds. Another good white is Mercedes bone white from the 70's.
A pic of mine before I put it in storage, its in the shade so the white doesn't come out as good.
It looks too clean for 194000 miles. The paint job looks new and they didn't remove the side molding and painted it too. Pile of tools in one interior pic on the passenger seat, not a good way to showcase your car.
The paint job is probably original and severely weather beaten, the hatch is...
Car sat for 7 years? Your gas tank may need to be drained and lines checked for being obstructed. After 7 years the gas is probably shelac.
Just driving it around could have loosened up sludge in the tank by sloshing and fuel returning to the tank.
Dynamax vt. I screwed up and got the up to 4 litres. I sent them an email and they recommend the over 4 litres for turbo cars. There are some youtube videos showing the db output of the VT compared to other brands. You will need the offset one Part number 17957
Check the small wire from the battery terminal to the fuse block and also the negative grounding points, one on the left inner fender by the shock and the other on the motor.
Well the rad worked fine on my previous 1J, this new engine runs hotter. The ECU that came with it and wires and intake manifold show it was from an early chaser. When I get my single setup I am going oil cooled only on the turbo which I am sure will help the cooling system out and perhaps I...
I had a front left tire come off my 1973 Mercury Comet when I was staitoned in Japan on the freeway. First I saw the tire then the car went down on the front left on the rotor and I slowly got over in the emergency lane. I had to walk about a quarter mile to get the tire. The Japanese that were...
Last time I did something like that with my wife in the car she got pretty mad and told me to make sure my life insurance is up to date and to do it alone haha.
