From what Iv gathered nothing is deffinate, it all depends on who buys it for the most part.

    Centralia or Bust! ......Delilahs build

Iv been wanting to organize a meet in spokane, it probably wont be for quite a while. If I ever get around to it, I think it would be fun it will depend what happens with the track, but it would be great to get some cars together somewhere and then head over to the track to make a few runs

    Centralia or Bust! ......Delilahs build

Well I live in pullman, my little brother is a senior in high school and still lives at home. My car is back in spokane in my dads shop so thats where all the action happens. My dad has pretty much everything, a milling machine and a paint booth would be nice:love: but other than that. Hopefully...

    Centralia or Bust! ......Delilahs build

The exhaust manifold was leaking on my brothers car pretty bad so we decided to change the gasket. and cleaned everything up while we were at it. 3 of the studs stripped out in the process. We decided to helicoil it in the stock size rather than go to 7/16 so incase it ever happens...

    Centralia or Bust! ......Delilahs build

Im heading home this weekend if anyone wants to lend a hand. If all goes as planned I can get a few touch ups done on the engine bay, grind the pins off my motor mounts, finish painting some brackets, and get the tranny and wiring harness on the motor so its ready to go in.

    Centralia or Bust! ......Delilahs build

Looks like she'll stay where she is for a while, at least I have another good motor in the back of the shop so I can drive the car while i tear it down. The spare has 17k original miles on it and ran perfect before it was stored so fingers crossed its still that way I also got my fidanza...

    Centralia or Bust! ......Delilahs build

Im a bit behind on upates but I got the motor back from the machinist and bad news. Well actually somewhat expected news, the block needs a little more than a lapping to pull off an mls. So its going to get completely tore down. Its just a shame to toss rings with 24k on them. Anyways Im going...

High Pressure head gaskets, valve seats, and posi-grip clutches oh my!

I dont think anyone who thinks the 7m has head gasket(s) is legit, especially "high pressure" ones and Im not even going to try to wrap my brain around how a posi-grip clutch would work. Its all in good fun, It is a beautiful car and I wouldnt mind owning it but you could do better alot better...

High Pressure head gaskets, valve seats, and posi-grip clutches oh my!

a wideband and an a/f gauge are very different things, I have an aem wideband, but an a/f gauge is just a fancy light show doesnt tell you a thing. In all reality it is a nice car I think I have seen it in person, Spokane is not that big and I drive for both my jobs so if theres a supra here Iv...

High Pressure head gaskets, valve seats, and posi-grip clutches oh my!

I dont think anyone in spokane has anywhere close to 600 hp anymore, I helped build what Im pretty sure was the only supra to ever push close to that in spokane. I now have the motor sitting in a shop as the car was totalled. No one who has 600 hp has an af gauge, they are worthless and if he...

    Most respected machinist in spokane?

I need some recommendations on good machinists in spokane. I dont need the block bored so luckily I dont have to search for a torque plate, But I need the head and block surfaces for a mls gasket, crank checked, and ground if needed. Then rods, mains ect checked, possibly line hone the journals...

High Pressure head gaskets, valve seats, and posi-grip clutches oh my!

Check it out, I know the "check this craigslist or ebay ad out" gets old but I couldnt help but laugh at this one since its local. http://spokane.craigslist.org/car/599815466.html why is it the people who have know idea what they are talking about always think their cars are worth the most?

    Need Some Help Please

Strap wrench FTW, I had the same problem the first time I changed my oil after I got my car. I spent 2 hours trying to get that thing off. Me and my brother both tried and it broke the filter socket and then I fount my strap wrench. Give it a shot and once you get it off, relocate it.

You might want to stop by the engine oil section as well, I personally wouldnt recomend royal purple. Theres deffinatly some good reading there, might make your reconsider.

    Centralia or Bust! ......Delilahs build

Nice build T3D, your a little more ambitious than I. So at the moment Im stuck in that place most have been in and everyone hates. Waiting on my machinist. The worst part about this is once he surfaces the head I still have to order my head gasket and wait for it to arrive before I can get...

Question about mirror finish (head) & I'm lookin for a reputable machine shop in WA

Its going to slide the same amount reguardless of the finish, those little ridges wont do anything when it comes to the forces of metals expanding and contracting. The tooling marks have a tendancy to tear a comp head gasket as they move across it. Its science :sarcasm: Ill trust the "old...

    Centralia or Bust! ......Delilahs build

Cleaning is the worst for sure, so time consuming. My goals are pretty modest, Im sticking with 440s so I think 300 at the wheels give or take is a decent goal for now. It is a daily driver for thee most part. I wont make that at first but later on with a 57 trim safc and some tuning I think I...
