I have an intermittent code 22...the CEL will come on, then go off, then come on, etc in non-uniform intervals
I looked in the TSRM and the drawing is hard to interpret which sensor is the "Water Temp Sensor"

Any luck man?
I relocated my ground to be under the bracket instead of just under the nut. Drove it to work yesterday and ran it through the gears pretty good, and no code. I still want to get more time on it to be sure, and since its intermittent I dont know how long to wait until I call...
If the deepest threads are the damaged ones then I dont think the longer bolt option will work.
The AN option, I have little experience with AN fittings into a blocks, so I will let others chime in. I am sure there are several ways to go about it, so hopefully someone with experience can set...
AN fitting option seems like the best route.
But if you want to stay with the banjo bolt, you might contact a brake line manufacturer (like goodrich) they have a HUGE array of bango bolts for their many differnt brake like applications.
I will be there. Have a few things to fix and finish but I have confidence it will be where I want it by SIV
No where close to your level of perfection and modification, but I will be repin' the 87s
I havent had a chance to look at it yet. I went out of town for the weekend.
I think it must be a ground because it is intermittent...I am going to check (maybe try a new) ground this weekend. If that doesnt work I am going to just get new sensors. and If that doesnt work I will buy another...
Been doing some searching and the torque for the sensor is 52 in-lb...over tightening can mess up the signal and cause a code 52
Mod please correct posts #61 and #62 to reflect the correct knock sensor torque of 52 in-lbs
That is correct. Code 52 only indicates an issue with the circuit...it will NOT indicate a knock. the ECU adjusts for knock real time all in the background.
I dont know what to tell you other than try a different ECU. you replaced the KS wiring, AND the KS sensors themselves...only other...
Code 52 doesn't indicate knock or misfire. It just indicates an issue with the knock sensor system/circuit.
My reason for asking whether you took the plenum off is becuase the knock sensors themselves are very sensitive. I wonder if you might have damaged one (or both) when you installed the...
WOW!! I am pretty shocked about this...and totally bummed for you that you are still dealing with this issue. I was plagued with code 52 for a really long time and the Shaeff rewire fixed it (so far).
I am sure you have, but have you double and tripled checked the connections (sensor and...
I think they have had a change in management since they were banned.
regardless though...$650 is a large gamble...
I emailed them about a front lip and recieved a prompt and professional reply. I did not follow through on the lip thought so I cannot comment on their performance
A few weeks ago I installed 550s and a Lex AFM. I could not get the thing to idle...it would just keep hunting...bouncing between max rich and max lean then it would throw a code 31.
Through many hours of research I figured it was a vac or boost leak. I went through and found a few...
