i have this same issue, kinda, mine happens around 1500 rpms, and on the wideband it just goes lean 21:1, so I have a flat spot somewhere. I don't know if it did it before with the old maf, but I went to a lex maf. Might be the issue there.

I know this is a bit off topic, but if I'm not mistaken marlin crawlers (they do off road trucks and whatnot) they have an electronic speed sensor adapter that works for our cars. You just pull out the cable and put the new deal in, and voila, electronic speed signal. I dunno if that'll help...

have you tried adjusting the TPS. Check your codes first, even if it doesn't show a CEL, check it anyway. I couldn't figure out my problem, until I ended up checking and threw a code 51
