sputtering issues

Alright guys currently I'm 2jzget w/ 7m electronics. I have an aeromotive fpr, lex afm, rc550 hi-imp, dave h turbo kit, arp head studs, 2mm head gasket and zeitronix zt-2 wb02.

I just installed the rc550's and I bypassed the resistor box, car runs ok. I turn the fpr down to 34 psi and she barely wants to idle (with vacuum), I turn her up to 60 psi, car runs great.

Check my wb02 at idle, and it says 21:1. WTF? I see a lil smoke coming from the DP so I figure it's just a leak cause the wb to go crazy.

no codes at all, I was having an issue with 51 and 41, but that's taken care of now.

As I'm driving (fpr at 60) car runs ok, but smokes. I try to get into boost and the car falls down flat on her face. I can't tell you the RPM's cause the gauge doesn't work. I'm seeing roughly 11 psi. Sometimes lower, sometimes 11.5.

I turn the fpr back down to 34 w vacuum, same thing. The wb says anywhere from 11-13. But for a split second I saw it jump to 17/18 under boost. Now I'm only seeing 9 psi (i'm assuming the rev's are stopping earlier)

You guys have any ideas? I'm at ends wit, and I really dont want to search anymore cause my head hurts and I'm super frustrated.

Thanks guys, please guys if you have any ideas at all, I'm willing to give it a shot. I really don't know anymore.

The first thing you should do is not boost at all until this is sorted, accidently running lean is a lesson i hard learned and wont do again.
What was your compression ratio after the 2mm h/gasket went in?What was your compression readings across the cylinders? What is your fuel pump?what is your timing? Are you running the car and looking for wideband values useing only a dump pipe?
Sorry for the questions im very interested though....

it's hard to explain, it almost feels like I've got too much fuel, it pops and backfires.

Wiseco. Yeah but I need to run boost to figure out what's wrong...My fuel pump is a walboro unit. Timing should be stock @ 10 degrees. I have a full 3 in exhaust no cat. WB02 is in the downpipe.

I thought the lex afm/550's are a plug and play type deal. Or should I go ahead and get a safc? I don't want to really spend money without knowing that's exactly wrong.

update! I got the safc in today, so I had some work cut up for. I installed the safc, took the plugs out, cleaned them up and gapped them. Currently I'm running the stock 2jzgtte spark plugs gapped down to 28.

I have the FPR set at a nice 45 psi with vacuum. I did some playing with the safc and it seems like my issue went away. What's scaring is me, is that I had to add fuel via safc. I still haven't got a 100% base tune yet, but I'm doing slowly.

It seems to still run rich though. As I drive it (changing both the safc and fpr) I can't seem to get it just right.

My wb02 around the 5500-6000 goes to 9. And then she'll sputter and stop.

My also getting code 34 still. I wasn't getting it before, but that kinda makes sense because It has to do the with the maf too. Considering that I put a SAFC on which alters signal from the maf. The safc tells the ecu that it's seeing too much air, so the ecu adds fuel. Does that sound right to anyone?
