A buddy of mine used a multimeter using the diagnostic ports OX1 and IG. The reading gave a pretty constant reading of .62-.63V at idle. He says it should flucuate between a much wider range maybe between .3V - .8V. He recommended that i replace the sensor immediately with another OEM unit...

Hey Nick, have you considered running with a 275/35/18 instead of a 40 series? Thats a pretty tall tire, which is probably hurting your acceleration times, not to mention throwing your speedo off.

You should just find a set of MKIV TT rear brakes. Enlarge the bolt holes, and they bolt right on. Unless you find a kit that allows you to used the MKIII bolts instead.

Usually those sets go for more than a set of wider aftermarket wheels, but if you get them cheap, go for it.

So everytime you brake, you need 2-3 presses to stop? Can engage the ABS on the first press? Are you losing any fluid? Check for leaks Have you adjusted the pedal rod behind the Master cylinder?

Have you tried locking up the wheels - engage ABS? Does the symptom present itself within the same driving period? How far apart does usage need to be before it happens again?
