good to see someone MSnS a 2J; I love the progress I've made with it.
A local megasquirter is doing a 2j in his nissan 240. I'll get some pics up when he's done. He's the one responsible for getting my 6M running primo
good luck with your project
good luck with the adapter; i want to see someone use this.
btw, william is good for doing the research for custom parts. i'm having great success with his 36-1 trigger wheel for aftermarket engine management
When I was speaking of GM flexplate, I was referring to the diameter, not necessarily a stock GM flexplate. If I had a custom flexplate that would bolt up to an off-the-shelf GM converter, then that would eliminate the need for a high$$$ custom converter. The chances of a flexplate going bad...
i was really concerned about the flexplate (to use with the th trannies) because the one i have is too small to accept a GM torque converter. i was hoping that adapter would allow to run a GM flexplate and a 'different' starter, but I don't know what combo
New times for the mkii:

1/8th ET - 7.318
1/8th mph - 100.89
1/4 ET - 11.264
1/4 mph - 125.92
Upgraded to full Garrett T4/T61 with a .96 A/R turbine housing (made a HUGE difference over the CT housing!)
W58 still hanging in there:icon_surp
eliminate some of that weight in the front by weight reduction or relocation (hatch mount the battery, etc).
who needs A/C? that's a good 40 lbs of dead weight.
Other class:
Mkii - 6M-GE+T (internally stock)
Megasquirt EMS
SPEC stg3+ (W58)
Detroit TrueTrac LSD
MT ET drags
CT26 17psi
This was at the 05 Supra Shootout at Steele, AL (SpeedForSale sponsored)
Congrats; I've been running my MKii squirted for about 3 years now. I just got the 36-1 wheel working, but I'm not running EDIS
You'll love it the more you play with it
We'll have about 5 cars from Montgomery if all goes well:
Civic Coupe: 10 sec club
300z: 11 sec club
240 volvo sedan: 12 sec club
740 volvo: 12 sec club
MKii Supra: 12 sec club looking for 11's
Can't wait; guess I better put my car back together :1zhelp:
I have an msq for my 6m with 720's; it can get you started with a 'base'. Load it and play around with the req fuel to get it to idle. As for ignition, you're on your own; I'm running VR on the dizzy to HEI for conditioning and MSD6A
I'm in the hospital with my dad. I'll get the MSQ to you...
the so-so tune was lacking in the timing area. it was a safe tune (the car's been turboed and abuse for the last three years, the first year i took it easy).
N/A pistons just weren't made for that kind of abuse
Same head, different engine management. S-AFC only controls fuel (and not very well). As you can see, the car wasn't making any more power, so Blake let out.
This is funny. Blake printed out my last dyno vs. the new setup. The red was with an upgraded ct26 (bnr stg 3) on s-afc and 13psi. the blue is bnr stg 4 (t4/t61) on megasquirt, 13psi with boost creep to ~20psi
Peak #s don't mean sh@t
