My skepticism comes from the fact that he rags on alcohol when alcohol is PROVEN to reduce detonation at elevated boost levels on pump gas. If acetone does the opposite of alcohol, then it will theoretically increase the possibility of detonation.

I don't have a problem buying replica parts of parts that are not available any more. Shoot, PowerHouse Racing copied this manifold and I didn't hear anybody crying foul about it. If you want it, go for it. If you don't, that's fine.

Here's a good place for injector service: http://www.cruzinperformance.com/ If any part of the actual injector is cracked, send it out for repair. Seals should be available from Greddy, just give a good greddy dealer a call.

His diff probably took its own life long ago, so go for it! :P Running a tire with a different speed rating on either side will definitely cause some funny handling issues. The moral of this story is: If you're bent on using them, find two with the same speed rating that are visually identical...

I'd like to see some CCW SP500's on a Mk3. Mk4 guys tend to be much more daring with fitments and offset than Mk3 guys, but they usually have much larger budgets for wheels and such.

I'm a pretty nice guy, and I'm more than willing to encourage people to take on cool projects, but you're way out of your league with this one. Do a simple color change, maybe new gauge faces, red backlighting, recovered seats, etc. Try all that first and then see where you are.
