Nice, looks super clean! The 7m gets a bad wrap but if you build them right or get one in good shape and actually take care of it they are great motors and push just as much power as a JZ. Most unfortunately have had one if not multiple owners that have beat on them and not maintained them...

Go buy a set of easy outs at sears, it should come with the drill bits and they are pretty easy to use.

Thats what sold me on this setup, unlimited LINEAR spring options that are pretty affordable so they can be played with until perfect. I just keep going back and forth between Konis, or ordering bilsteins valved for the spring rates I provide.

Wideband AF,Oil Pressure and Temp are the most critical 3 measurements. Then again by the time you notice any of them being critical its usually too late.......... :/

Looks like another manufacturer is making a Wiggins style clamp. They look like they are slightly cheaper as well. I would love to run those but your right they are spending. Even the ones you posted which are cheaper than wiggins will run 300+ for 4 clamps which is the minimum you could do...

Plenty of people running big power on .040 over, that's not an issue. However if it was bored/built with factory cast pistons that's not the best situation as you normally run tighter clearances with forged pistons.

.040 over is the max I have seen. Has it been run since being bored or is it fresh? If its fresh and they cylinders check round I would say get some .040 over pistons of choice and run it.
