Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

Let it sit in the sun for a few days to cure before starting the cutting and buffing process if you haven't already.

    Dark and Tan MK3

Depends what you use as thread lube, iirc its 85lbs with the supplied molly grease or 100lbs with engine oil. ---someone correct me if thats wrong, been a while One big reason you see different values referenced all the time.

    Dark and Tan MK3

Nice, looks super clean! The 7m gets a bad wrap but if you build them right or get one in good shape and actually take care of it they are great motors and push just as much power as a JZ. Most unfortunately have had one if not multiple owners that have beat on them and not maintained them...

    Where to buy ffim

Nice, interested to see how it goes in. So what is he running for powersteering? Also I could see how a short runner would make things easier to access but I would think the 2j IM would be the same if not better than stock. Let me know if you decide to sell it, I was planning on modding one for...

    The Small Questions Thread

+1 going to be possibly doing this soon as well. I'm going to be dropping front subframe if I do though so I'm more interested in the routing vs the how.

    Fernando's white street car build

Really digging the build so far, especially that Radiator. I have been wondering for a while why I don't see anyone going with a dual pass since the water inlet/outlet is both on the passenger side. IIRC even duane tucked his but went single pass. Any plans to overdrive the water pump or do you...

    Emilio's NewRedSupra

Thats what sold me on this setup, unlimited LINEAR spring options that are pretty affordable so they can be played with until perfect. I just keep going back and forth between Konis, or ordering bilsteins valved for the spring rates I provide.

    Emilio's NewRedSupra

What are the spring lengths they set you up with on the front and back and do you have any idea what the spring rates are? I am really wanting to put together a set like this with either the Koni's or Bilsteins. The Koni's are adjustable which is nice (PITA though as you mentioned) but I have...

Hey guys new to 7m gte

Wideband AF,Oil Pressure and Temp are the most critical 3 measurements. Then again by the time you notice any of them being critical its usually too late.......... :/

Hey guys new to 7m gte

I wouldn't recommend it if your going to to it might as well do it right and take the time/money to go to a full thermostat cooler system. Read these: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?31378-Ways-to-cure-7M-oiling-issues...

OldCrappySupra - Wheels for my old bones

Looks like another manufacturer is making a Wiggins style clamp. They look like they are slightly cheaper as well. I would love to run those but your right they are spending. Even the ones you posted which are cheaper than wiggins will run 300+ for 4 clamps which is the minimum you could do...

    Question on bored over block

Plenty of people running big power on .040 over, that's not an issue. However if it was bored/built with factory cast pistons that's not the best situation as you normally run tighter clearances with forged pistons.

    Question on bored over block

.040 over is the max I have seen. Has it been run since being bored or is it fresh? If its fresh and they cylinders check round I would say get some .040 over pistons of choice and run it.
