Hahaha, thanks for the responses. Taillights are the best part? On mine I think they look terrible. The reflector part is a shade brighter than the tail lights. The stupid tail lights have some dirt inside them on the left one, that's why I wanted to smaller lights because I couldn't get that...
How so? Carries the black and white look better than random huge red light across the whole back of the car. I think I remember you saying something about how you hate smoked tail lights on some other post anyways.
I have a white supra. Love the look of black on it.. So I got black wheels. And I've fell in love with black lights on white cars as seen on a sweet drift s14 car. Anyways I thought to make it a little different and less "ricey" I made cut outs for the turn signal and reverse light oval things...
Also I just remembered.. When I put the non factory wheels on it I think that's when the vibrations started. Maybe the tire is somehow damaged and not perfectly rounded and the tire shop moved the wheels but not the tires? (They're directional tires they had to dismount and all).
I have an 89 na don't know if brakes were any different in different trims and years.
Anyways I got some seriously steering wheel shaking 60mph+. Tires/Wheels balanced. The shaking occurs from front right wheel as I can see the hood bouncing on the right side... I've had the wheel moved to...
Hey all, right now I have an 89 7mge supra. 215k, head gasket still intact and drive it everyday, I'm sure piston rings are bleeding through enough to reduce pressure on the HG so it's all good!
Anyways, I basically want to build a muscle car in a way, without much money. I've looked at 1jz...
Yeah I get it. So if I got a r154 that's connected to a 1jz. And get a diff from a usdm Turbo it would still be off.? These little things make this so complicated xD. I'm probably just going to keep the w58 at this time. I read I need a 2jzge flywheel and clutch setup. Does this mean out of the...
Sigh why didn't I just get a turbo supra. So if I get a 1jz (Out of a supra because it's rear sump with an r154 and the 1st gen) stick that in my car, and get a new front piece of the drive shaft, would my speedo be wrong? I think mine is the 4.3 I believe. I do almost 3500 going 70.
Been looking around and found that I need a 2jzge flywheel and clutch setup. Does this mean a flywheel out of an 2jzge manual car? Such as is300, gs300 (I think)? Or does it mean out of a NA mk4 manual supra?
I have a 89 7mge with w58.
If I got a 1jzgte from a jza70. I read I'd need a 2jzge flywheel and clutch. Do I also need a different bellhousing?
Also, if I used the r154 trans with the NA diff, the 4.3 (or whatever) it is, will my speedo read the right speed?
I still don't even get how that's bad if the manual says what it does. But it'd make since, as the oil burns a bit or used ot on start up. So the rings on pistons are leaking, then compression would squeak past to the oil.
This white smoke thing. I know before when it was warmer, sometimes if...
Well it'd back since cause the car used to burn oil, oil seeking past hte rings into the cylinders.. Also I don't get why you see that pressure being too high. I just checked the manual, says 40-80 normal driving and 10-25 or so in idle. After warm.
Ill explain more. My clutch is slipping it could always be that but it usually only rubs when I shift while throttle. And slips bad then.
But that pressure is fine and normal according to the manual. Are we thinking about something else? The far does burn oil. Bad St first I used ring...
Have a 89 na 210k miles with exhaust and intake. My car gets about 18mpg average and I drive like a granny. Makes snapping noises under heavy accel. I have decent oil pressure when driving around 60psi and when idle after warmed up its around 20-30. Also I wonder because I drove my old 02...
