Well we got it in the mail with on fluid because he had to ship it empty. I put about 2 in a half of these in it http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Castrol-Axle-Limited-Slip-gear-oil-SAE-80W-90-32-oz/_/N-25t1?itemIdentifier=991558_0_0_
Just filled it until it started to spill out a...
So a fellow member here sold me a 373 LSD rear end for my 89. After I got the engine all in I started driving, hearing some skipping or bouncing noise, Oh shit we did the clutch wrong... But then I took another sharp turn I noticed the inner wheel would be locked up and skipping or skidding on...
I don't know why I'm posting this but after all that work and having no idea what I'm doing and modding the harness a bit it was able to start up :O

Just got one oil leak and PS leak to fix which I already found just have to tighten clamps...
Well it ran!! Rough idle engine was shaking around a lot but held an idle for over a minute at like 800 rpm. I had a tyota head mechanic do the engine timing, I did the cps according to a guide just having the wheel match up with the marks inside but maybe I didn't do it right. It had oil...
I just checked all plugs are plugged in. 1 plug was sparking when we pulled it out to see. I aligned the cps notches from a guide I've seen. Gas is fine. Hope something will happen tomorrow! Too excited to sleep.
Well it's plugged in now. We got one loud backfire pop, blew soem smoke out the afm but then the battery died. Should I just wait for charge and crank it for awhile tomorrow? :D
Hey yeah I did exactly that by jumping the terminals and I definitely heard fuel going through there. Well I realized I didn't have hte afm plugged in so it probably wasn't opening the injectors....
So after all that I tried it again, we got one backfire and the starter died again have to let...
On the b1 plug of the 90 harness had an extra white/black wire I think it was that was one of the big center ones that my didn't have. Mine was a blue/white which the 90 did have on the top middle where mine was on the middle middle. I'm trying to find a b1 pinout for a 90+ harness..
Also...
Well I got through most of it. I had the nsw left over that my new harness didn't have. And on the 7mgte harness there was a left over big black/white and a teal/red cable that didn't plug into my new one.
I found a big thread on it. After going through the TEWD and findiing it's the B1 plug I found more threads on it. Most people are saying that only the connector changed but the wires are still the same. I'll just have to spend some time swapping connectors out.
Also the b3 plug, is that for...
I have an issue. 89 body Grey plug and a 90 auto harness. There are two big cube shaped dark Grey plugs that go in the glove box next to the ecu plugs. They do not plug into each other but have very similar wite colors. What should I do? Cut the plug off of my 7mge harness and match wires and...
The speedometer gear set in the tail of the trans. Are none of them swappable? I've seen another post (http://www.celicasupra.com/forums/showthread.php?52517-w58-speedo-gears-with-3-73s) explaining a lot of this. I know the w58s only had 4.30s but are you telling me the gear sets are not...
I've figured out I need a 32:10 speedo gear set when I have a w58 with a 3.73 rear to get my speedo within 1mph accuracy. Any idea? My toyota dealer wasn't so helpful..
Got my chinaman hoses today :D They fit surprisingly well. So far the only problem hose has been the angle from the thermo housing to the turbo which was way too big ID so I had to use factory. As well as the Throttle body to ISC did not have that hose or I didn't figure it out lol.
Jk sorry for all the dumb posts I think I just answered my own question because that round thing plugs into the boost sensor which I don't have anyways. Buut Ill have to figure out what that plug is next to my fuse box on the body.
More questions...
Looking at a picture it looks like there's a big female plug that comes right out next to the diagnosis piece, and that's ignitor resistance plug. On my 7mge harness it has no such plug as it's a rotor. There is a plug on my body that is a square:
And here is the plug on...
So was I not holding the c1 connector in the picture? It connects to a connector that runs under the fuse box. I'm not sure what I should do with it.
Illl try to clarify... My body c1 connector has wires through 1-5. Pin 6 has no wire. 7mgte harness has pin 1-4, 5th there is no wire, and the...
