Have you drilled out the access to the bypass screw on the lex afm housing?
Screw that screw all the way in.
Check your VF
You'll be fine with 3.75V at idle. Check your cruising should be 2.5V
Don't worry if your 3.75 is 3.25 or your 2.5 is 2.25 just look for that range. There are five...
Cool ... crisp that's my diagram :D
but I'm going to go with this relay adam directed me to:
and keep it in the engine bay then just run a 10awg wire to the pump:
the 'Y' for pin 2&3 is to retain the ability to jumper FP and +B in the diag connector.
Thanks for the reply. Since you had the wrong plug, yours had to come off anyway :( Or maybe you could have drilled large enough to get the plug out.
I think, (hope), mine is the correct plug and only needs tighten. The one at the rear was loose. Took the transmission off expecting to do a...
rumptis - How did you fix yours? I think the front plug for the block oil rail is leaking on mine too. Did you have to pull the entire front off including the timing gear case sub-assy? Doesn't that affect the hg seal?
Is it possible to drill a hole, in the sub-assy, small enough to get the...

Last night I cleaned the pins and water out with alcohol.
This morning it had strange behavior:
• While driving at cruising speed, it was pegged lean 21. (It's not running lean - VF registers 2.25 at cruise)
•When I came to a stop it would begin to register normal 14's.
Had a good down pour here this morning. Hit a few ponds going to work.
My wideband started reading richer.
Since my sensor is in the cat, the connector is below the car with the short lead of the sensor.
I checked this evening and heat shrink around the connector, wire end, has come...
First – You take good pictures so people can help you :bigthumb:
Second – This is probably good wisdom:
Third – You also have the info for cleaning and reusing.
Last – I wanted to show you what a rivet that interferes looks like:
See, none of those rivets look compromised. If they had been in the way they would be squished.
Guess that's why getting a new one would be the better way to go. My time is worth more that what it would take to remove all the rivets, clean all the layers and hope I have completely aligned...
It defiantly looks like you had a bhg, but -
Though the front rivet looks like it's laying on the block, the line in the gasket is the extent of the head so the rivet does not interfere with a flush seal.
I haven't heard anything of the rear rivet causing a problem, nor experienced it on my...
Are you sure you had rivet problem. Last Cometic I got looks like they corrected the issue. Other threads here say so too and looking at the indention of the head mark on your HG looks like there was no interference.

Zeitronix, without extra add-ons and you don't even need the display, will log:
A/F, RPM, TPS, VF
- you can add boost sensor and egt probe to log those too.
