A: the harness you have is for a auto. that doesnt matter, it just has extra plugs that you wont use.i am assuming your profile is correct and you have a r154. the swap itself doesnt look to bad. minus the fact he used an crappy harness. what i would do is just re-run all the vaccum lines...

check your plug gap, also slap in some new plugs if it has been awhile.

i am using cca-975-12 (bbc inner spring) here. several other local guys have been using them for a few years.

the head bolts use a 10mm allen head, arps are a 13 or 14mm 12point nut/head.

umm you might want to swap in some 550's. that 60-1 has to be close to fuel cut already.

well you described the setup in my n\a-t. Mods10:1 CR(milled head)on stock engine with mhg and arps, stock ct-26, P&P exhaust mani, gte electronics, intake, stock IC and stock DP with punched out cat and turbo exhaust. with stock boost i could hit full spool @2200 rpm this year the plan...

upgraded ct(57,60 trims work fine), full 3" elbow back, 550's or rebuilt 440's, afpr, maft-pro, fmic and 2.5" hard pipes, wideband(lc-1, aem, fjo, ect..), 255 pump,MHG and arps. and call it a day. now 5sp will need a upgrade clutch for it to last, auto should have shims and a good trans cooler.

well one of the local guys auto took a dump on him. long story short i pulled the tranny apart for fun and saw an old failure that was "fixed". not sure how it happend but since you want to see failure parts. iirc it was the front driving shell that was cracked most of the way around...

its only pressurized under boost not when it is off boost. the point is @ 15% throttle of a stock unit vs. a 30mm larger TB @ 15% throttle. i still would say to keep an eye on the a/f's. i know that my car with a stock TB wouldnt build boost under 23% throttle(or right around there) on a flat...

on a stock ct 11-12psi is the max "safe" amount on stock n/a compression with a mhg. a local guy ran up to 18-21 before BOOM. meth and retarded timming are good things tho. -shane
