Boost Problem and Speedo Cable Question

I finally got the car on the road today. I drove it about 20 miles until the car would not boost over 5 psi. I had the wastegate shimmed to 10 psi before it started to get what felt like fuel cut. I checked my IC pipes and they are tight as can be. As soon as it hits 5 psi in any gear, the car...

Crazy idea for a fun product

I guess I grew up old, lol. I used to drive around in the car with my dad while he would listen to The Beatles, Yes, The Who, Jethro Tull, Gensis, Neil Young, Pink Floyd, Rush, Supertramp, etc. And now I find myself listening to those albums more than I do the radio. And when I do listen to the...

    Casey's Ricer RHD Build

Well, tomorrow I should get the short rubber clutch line tomorrow. And if I do, I'll definitely have the car on the road. A couple more pics. Red dash LEDs. Some of the lights look dim but I can assure you they are all mighty bright. But like some have said, you can't see where the redline...

Then I shall be back here on friday. I had to order a new rubber clutch line going to the slave cylinder hard line from Toyota today because the other one was cut.

    Boost gauge

Well, if it's a faulty gauge someone has some explaining to do. Lol. But I don't think it is. I blew into it and the needle went up. Is that a good place to draw vacuum for the gauge from? And I'll check on the hose to see if it's pinched or disconnected.

    Boost gauge

It's a Stewart Warner boost gauge. It's mechanical so the only thing to hook up is the light, and it's only a boost not boost/vacuum and it stays at 0. I guess I should've mentioned that the car is not moving when I'm looking at it. I'm only revving it. Not sure if it matters tho. I just thought...

    Boost gauge

I hooked up my boost gauge but it's not reading any boost. I hooked it up to the vac line coming from the back of the manifold going to the cruise control unit. It looked like it was hooked up there in most of the threads I looked at. Any help? PS - And yes it is hooked up to the back of the...

    Casey's Ricer RHD Build

Ok, well I got all the intercooler piping on, the blow off valve hooked up, the driveshaft on, and fluid in the transmission. I went to hook up the clutch and realized I had to get a new rubber hose that is a Toyota only part. So that ended my fun because I swore to myself that today would be...

    SILV07

I like flying and all, but I would rather drive. It would be my first trip out of state and I might as well make it a good one. My daily driver is a Hyundai Tiburon with 50,000 miles on it. I think I'd make it without any serious problems. I hope. I'd like to travel thru different states anyway...

    SILV07

:aigo: Its a 2550 mile 33 hour drive. I might go. But it most likely won't be in my Supra. I don't trust it to drive that far yet. So I'll be in my daily driver if anything. I'll try to get the girlfriend to come as it'll be a looong lonely drive, lol.

Remove dents with dry ice (Small dents)

You have to be 18+ to buy it. At least I had to be. And I still use it for dry ice bombs. :biglaugh: EDIT - I'm pretty sure you have to heat the area first with a heat gun or a blow dryer or something. Can someone confirm?

Haven't done this in a while... POST YOUR PETS

This is Vito. He's a 3 year old Superior Doberman. He's very protective over me. He's up to my waist on all 4s and im 6'2". So he's a good intimidating size. He's taken me down a few times when he's playing with me. And he loves to wear things on his head. I'll get a better picture later.

    7M-GE to 7M-GTE Swap Questions

Actually, if you get a USDM 7M-GTE that matches the engine with the year of the car, it really is straight plug and play. 87-88s match, 89 is a weird year (not sure of the differences), and 90-92 match.
