    intake manifolds the same?

check spark plug condition here: http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/TechTips/spark_plug_condition.aspx check engine codes and set the tps according to the tsrm.

if you don't have problems now why shouldn't it be okay?

    Few Questions.AFM.Lean/Rich

With wrong air intake measurements, wouldn't the timing be ajusted incorrectly?

    intake manifolds the same?

Well if I'm not mistaking it's not the difference in pre 89 vs 89+ TPS'ses but the NA vs Turbo TPS where the arm is 90 degrees off ?

you can safely remove the complete egr system. you can make (or buy!) yourself some blockoff plates. one goes on to the block and one goes on the manifold. I have some pictures for you. then you'd only need one vsv (the 'front' one, near the 'front' ) for the power steering to have idle up.

New turbo wobbles. Put it on?

Well I took the turbo to 'my' revision shop today. That shop rebuilds a lot of engines and they also prepare rally cars. There is enough expertise on turbines there. At first they told me it was ok, but after i showed them that when you spin the exhaust wheel it has a heavy point, doesn't spin...

eh i thought that the grey metal thing on the right was the starter and even further on the right you can see a little bit of the tranny ?

The VSV you're missing is the one nearest to the steering column, or so it seems. That VSV is for the EGR valve. If you don't have the EGR anymore that could be the reason it's missing. The vacuum hose is coming from the small vacuum hardpipe on the left side of the intake manifold. You can cut...

    intake manifolds the same?

? It's capped off. Not visible. Don't ajust the idle by screwing with the dash pot or the idle ajustment screw. The ecu will always correct every change you make.

    Help needed! steering problems

I think/guess what he means is the vacuum line going to one of the two VSV's under the intake manifold? They are made of metal, have one or two vacuum connections and a brownish air filter. One is for your EGR, the other for your PPS.

    Help needed. Fuel pressure

backfire has to do with ignition issues most of the times. pull codes, check timing check spark on every plug. check every sparkplug

    intake manifolds the same?

yeah 89+ TB have the ajustment screw capped off. tps is thesame. I've had an 88 tps on my 89 car.

    how much power?

also depends on your boost cut. But leaving that out and just using the injector cycle for max power this is a good chart: http://www.sdsefi.com/techffhp.htm or: http://www.rceng.com/technical.aspx#WORKSHEET

Instead of new fuel line for J-tube bypass...

yeah you can. You can also drill out the restriction in the J tube and leave it on.

New turbo wobbles. Put it on?

because even if the play is within stock, when the shaft is bent there is an inbalance and it can break during high boost.
