Higher clamping force, more even distrobution of torque throughout, and less friction involved vs. studs, thus equalling more actual torque being applied and not being lost through the friction of tightening a bolt down ;).
Just like everyone else says, re-gap the plugs, but you may want to go over your coils and the rest of the ignition system in your freetime and check tolerances to see if any are too high on resistance, etc. from what is recommended in the repair manual.
You have to buy the adaptor that synapse makes specifically for the HKS flange.
They make an adaptor for just about any brand of BOV out there so you can upgrade to a synapse latter on.
And yes, I consider my choice an upgrade ;)
