    Speaker Interference Paint Pic Included

Agreed, 10awg is too small... I would run short 8awg from a block to the amps and then a short 4awg or a 0awg to a good gold tab ground. If you must cross different types of wires like RCA and power, they should cross at right angles. Also be careful that RCA are good quality shielded or...

what color are the temp senor wires

As I know it, there are two seperate sensors for the temp circuit, one sensor sends a signal to the ECU for engine temp and the second sensor is used to control the guage on the dash. At the thermostat housing, the dash guage sensor is a single wire and is yellow-green. I would venture a guess...

    Fiberglass sub box mockup *PICS*

I think when I measured mine with the spare tire tiedown hump, it came out tp about 2cu/ft. I put a boston 12" in half the spare well with the baffle (what you mount the speaker on) about 2" above the floor, the box is about 1cu/ft. I'll try and post my box and trunk tomorrow.

    Exhaust choice/sound related questions.

My vote would be for the HKS Dragger and the Tanabe SMH. The Tanabe is going on mine this winter. These are nice and quiet and still deliver the HP you were looking for as well as the growl when you hit the pedal.

Would love to see a Supra dash like this -->

I give kudos for the workmanship, but yea, not in a MkIII... a dash like that is a trailer queen must.

    wow

Nothing against Lowriders as I've seen some very classy impalas and caddy's with very well done tuck & roll leather interiors in more normal colors like white, red, tan or black, but purple and gold shag... someone drop a lit cig in there by accident.:naughty: Even is it was only "dingle balls"...

Which is the returline on the radiator for trans.

Yup, that is what I found too... Driver side is feed from Trans into the cooler and the passengers side is the return to the trans.

Bump 102 views and no feedback... OK, I'll take it as a lost cause and get a quality FPR. Time to search the For Sale section...

    Megan Racing FPR

Hey Marc, That was my assumption also, that the Walbro has a check valve. I believe I got it from George, but I am not sure. It could have been another member, but the unit was new with all the hoses and clips. Is there a specific version for the Supra vs a universal version that does not have...

    Megan Racing FPR

Hmmm 36 views and no comments... Maybe I should pick up the XS unit so someone would chime in with some info.... :umno: Any one have input on a plastic diaphram vs the rubber ones in the XS / Aeromotives?

    Megan Racing FPR

After reading the post on XS copy VS Aeromotives FPR, http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=59563&highlight=aeromotive+FPR it had me curious on what my Megan Racing FPR looked like inside. After taking it apart, It looked totally different that the XS and the Aeromotives FPR. My...

    BHG: How bad?

OK, after the above tip, I can see the HG is buldging, but it doesn't look like it was letting any gasses past the seals. BTW, I also wear glasses so I might just be too blind :aigo: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

    BHG: How bad?

Is it just me but I can't seem to see where the HG let go or broke. Is it one of those ugly orange lines? What is all that orange crap, rust? HUH... Were you running straight water in the coolant system? In my case, the break was very obvious between #1 & #2. BTW, the picture was taken...

    oil catch can install

Noob question time...:1zhelp: As I built my own catch can, what exactly is this "seperator". I've read the steel wool tip as well as a sponge, but is there some magic "seperator" that actually "thermally" (if that is a word) converts vapor to liquid (oil)? In my can, I have the "in" vent lower...

Keep the Bomex front bumper or trade for 89+ w/ lip???

Though the Bomex is rare, I find the rounded corners mess up the lines of the front. My preference is the 89+ or the 89- with a lip and the license plate filled in. A Turbo A duct ia a big plus in both.

    oil catch can install

Huh, how can a hot spot in the engine bay be the best place for a device whose purpose is to cool the oil vapors back into oil and drip to the bottom of the can instead of returning into the intake manifold??? I always thought the goal of a catch can was to capture as much oil from the PCV...

    EGR ???

Is the 91 to 93 octane range the right mix (as compared to somewhat cheaper regular 87 here in Canada)? Sometimes on a long 6h+ highway cruise I would have put in the 87 to save a few pennies but I guess it's going to be gourmet meals for the 7M-GTE from now on.

    EGR ???

I got a NOOB question as I am no where near as informed as several of you here... You keep mentioning reduced injector duration as well as advanced timing. Other that higher octane, would raising the fuel presure help in compensating for this ECU / EGR adjustment? I guess it would mean that your...

    Idle Steam - please help

Engine get wet or washed lately? Did you replace the small PITA coolant hoses at the back when you did your head? These like to split and pin hole leak. Where is the steam located? :dunno:

HELP - Where does this plug go?

WOW.. for someone so respected, I'd never expected a off-topic hijack as well as something like this...:aigo: Thanks all, I too believe it is the Cali EGR Gas Temp plug. It is now coiled up and tucked away, the grey plug on the car, that is. Time to close this thread.
