Here is my build thread...
Basically I bought this car 3 years ago and have since been sliding it and modding it to slide.

I have experience with other engines, and at the end of the day an engine is an engine...they all work on similar principles. I am also trying to understand the 7M better which is why I asked questions about this.
It doesn't matter if it's oem or not, it is better to have multuple vacuum...
Running from one vacuum port is a bad idea. My statement was pointed towards the 7M crowd...like I said I don't have much experience with the 7M, but it seems as though everyone else has multiple vacuum ports. On every other engine I have worked on there are mutliple ports for things like...
I need to look into this more on my own setup...but the correct way to do this would be to match your piping to your current setup.
What is the diameter of your turbo outlet, and what is the diameter of your throttle body? Using any other size will not help performance, and in theory will...
Just wanted to share some of my team's video's we have made. I know we have been posted up here before doing our HIN NightShift Demo, but here is some vids from our resident video guy T2Tim

this will not help you AT ALL...it will clean up your engine bay a bit and make you feel better about yourself...but if your car problems are related to this (sounds likely) they will still be there. Actually it could make it worse by creating extra volume in your hose setup over just t-ing...
I havn't seen any autopower's in mkiii's...but i have seen them in may other cars (my brother has one in his s13 as well). they are VERY good cages. There is nothing wrong with a bolt in. The only real problem with them is they don't fit quite as tight as a custom cage could fit, but they fit...
I've never even really looked at a 7M...why do you only have one vacuum port?
Taking that one line and going to any sort of distribution block will not solve your problem...it's the same thing as using a bunch of t's as you are currently doing.
-megan build quality is actually pretty nice. However their damping in respect to their spring rates and dynamic installation ratio is not very good. They are good if you don't care about overall handling and just want something to lower your car and have a stiffer ride. However a properly...
thanks for the very informative post :nono:
i don't have time to go through and find a bunch of data to support my theories, than explain how to read/understand shock dyno plots...as well as go into suspension theory. this is part of the reason i havn't posted here much. I know it sounds like...
If it does have a camber plate (I don't believe it will) it won't do anything due to us having double a-arm suspension
ask your ride height/weight distribution question if you want...i'll be glad to help
To follow up ALL the posts on suspension I have made recently...
If you notice I have not made any suggestions for off the shelf coilovers. That's because I can not say any are really good dampers. The only off the shelf coilovers I would recommend would be JIC FLT-A2 and tanabe sustec pro-7...
your link doesn't work...
apparently I havn't been staying up to date on my tein info (mostly because I'm not a fan of tein)...HA's aren't even made anymore.
What is everyone calling the HA's? It seems as though you are saying the basic's are the HA? That is far from it. The basics...
