Well it's true. Look at the Nigerian scam. People are evil enough to concoct a scam like that, then on the other end people are so stupid that they fall for it again and again and again.
That doesn't appear to be an option anymore.
Is the HKS the only kit that's made to fit our cars? I want something as close to stock as possible so I don't have to relocate a bunch of crap.
I bought a rad cap at the dealer, part number 16401-72090, and it just barely does not fit. The design is slightly different than the one I have on now.
Can anyone confirm if that's the right part number?
I actually passed visual without a charcoal canister on my car. However, seeing as how there was no performance gain and the fact that I could smell gas fumes hovering around in my engine bay, made me promptly put it back on.
Took my car out for a spirited drive today and went I brough it home I noticed it spewed a bit of coolant out of the overflow tube and on to the intercooler. Occaisonally I've gotten the odd drop or two but this was a somewhat substantial amount.
Anybody have some ideas? As far as I know...

So is the overall concensus that the Hose Techniques kit is worth it over standard vacuum hoses? I just want to go through and replace my vacuum lines since most are getting up in age, and I want the best available option.
My biggest problem is just finding a way to reach the damn filter. It's such a PITA to get to. I usually just lay perpendicular to the car, which makes it much easier to get to the filter.
And I'm in the "hand tightening" group. Haven't had too much trouble getting the filter off with that...
