What size flare wrench will I need to remove the fuel filter? Opposite side of the banjo fitting.
13mm or 14mm
I removed the gas tank today and installed a walbro. Next sat I'll change the filter and bolt the tank back up but I gotta make a trip to the store sometime this week for a...
I am also in the same boat. My engine has been disasembled for a few months now so I know the feeling.
Im nowhere close to installing the dipstick yet but Im pretty sure the dip stick bracket mounts to the ct26 turbo or probably any bolt on for that matter.
Just to confirm, the afm wire is cut with the ecu side plugging into the safc output (pink).
Is the other side of this afm wire just capped off since we are no longer using it?
Thanks for your help.
Its funny how the plug n play harnesses went for $450 when all you have to do is splice 4 wires...
Thanks again man..much appreciated!
That helps alot. Thank you.
Is the resistor absolutely necessary?
I just have to shave the insulation off the E2 and THA and add a wire with a resistor in place?
I just want to confirm my information is correct as well as ask a few questions on the areas that are a bit fuzzy to me.

yup, my greddy probec b spec 2 solenoid is pretty darn loud when its operating (loud clicking noise). I havent used any other brands but I would think that they would all sound similar?

I'm thinking about putting my climate control in the armrest console. Who else has done this? or where else did you relocate it to? I remember seeing a thread a long time ago where someone put it in the...
I'm a fan of the volk gt-c in mercury silver.
Remember w/e wheels you choose, get them in the mkIV fitment. (ie: instead of 18x8 18x9 they would be 18x9 18x10 with the same offsets)
ok so we covered how to wire the vpc>safc>ecu
but just to clarify because I am a little fuzzy on this..
ok so we know the vpc uses pressure, not karmen for metering the air flow. Since the vpc removes the the afm but is tricking the ecu to still read karmen, which color wires on the safc 2...
The VPC has the yellow wire that generates the air flow signal. The SAFC has an input and output wire. Connect the yellow output of the VPC to the input of the SAFC. Then connect the output of the SAFC to the fields harness wire that was originally the maf wire.
So you are taking the VPC...
