For everyone who has a wideband o2 installed, where did you pass the harness through the firewall?
The gromet on the driver side by the brake master cylinder is already maxed out with other harnesses/wires...so this one is out of the question.
Where else can I route the o2 harness?
I...
That may be so, but I can't notice any spectacular power gains between the two so I dont feel that all that extra noise is worth it. If you dont mind the noise then go for it.
Another thing to note is the fpd connection to the hard fuel line doesn't screw in very far..there is still a good amount of thread left on the hard line male side but it seems to be in all the way. This seem about right for you guys too?
I just finished the install for the AFPR and FPD.
I got everything from DM. I went straight to the fuel hard line with the fpd...man what a pain that connection was to remove..toyota must of put some type of adhesive there.
I personally hated the sound of the ddp. I liked it for first couple months and got tired of the noise. I swapped it for the standard bic dp.
Other then no more noise, I noticed the ddp had slightly better throttle response...thats it. Not worth it in my opinion..if your set on getting a...
Im going to be installing an aeromotive fuel pressure regulator along with a FPD removal hose this weekend. After doing a bunch of research I came across this and wasn't sure about it.
Here is a thread for installing these components along with 550's/walbro/lexus/safc.
Looking just at the...
How much discount would this coupon be good for?
My build is pretty much on hold until I get these 550's. If it's only good for a couple dollars then I'll go ahead and place my order.
Let us know SupraSport, Im ready to place my order with you guys next Wednesday the 9th.
Thanks
Blitz Sus Power ftw! and also for sale.
Too bad they don't make these with a 4" inlet. I think they are like ~6.5" inlet that connects to a bracket to the afm.
Going K&N 9" length univeral intake with new turbo setup that utilizes a 4" inlet.
Good write-up...
By the time all the new goodies come in and I find time to instal them, my start-up won't be until sometime in october...so we'll see what happens.
Thanks for the help.
I have a general question regarding the cps and the gears.
I removed the cps to take off the water housing. I did not mark the cps gears, will this result in the car not starting or running smoothly when I put it back on? I did not touch the cam gears or timing belt.
I am assuming...
1st pic: route it down thru the lower manifold and it plugs into a plug that is connected to a hard vac line that runs under the manifold. The colors match so it is easy to find.
2nd pic: This plug connects right up against the firewall into a black plug. It is litterally sitting against...
