You car is able to expel gas better with a free flowing exhaust. The exhaust gas go through faster. Faster exhaust gas travel, faster spinning turbo. Faster spinning turbo, more boost. The stock WG was designed along with the rest of the motor's setup to control 6.8 psi ONLY. With a free flowing...
Ain't that the truth. From the time I've spent in jail, I seen this one guy that I just wanted to beat over the head in hopes of making him smarter. This guy spewed nothing but lies and BS every sentence. And he NEVER shut up. :nono:
Well fuck me sideways.
Damn, IC's got cheap all of a sudden :nono:
I have to admit, If I had to do it over again, I would have waited and saved a shit load of money and just got that one instead.
I'm running 10 pounds of boost here and noticed a huge difference, mainly in the complete lack of traction in first and half way through second gear, but I did replace the stock pipes at the same time...
It's just the shape of the bracket I used, the IC sits right in front of where the AC condensor used to be on my car and right behind the crash support brace, which will have the center of it cut out and re-welded again so air will flow THROUGH it and into the top part of my IC.
At the minimum you should be reimbursed for the money you've spent as no (to my knowledge) time or effort on the attorney's side was put forth on your behalf.
You're going to need more than one piping kit if you get that IC, unless you have a FFIM, which I'd say he doesn't.
More piping=less efficient. For the average supra enthusiast upgrading the IC and Piping, they will need to stick with an IC with inlets and outlets on the same side. Besides...
It's the same thing from post #3 and it only replaces the IC and lower pipe section to make the stock piping mate up to it. Its the Chineese knockoff of the Spearco kit.
If you want it running right you may want to put the EGR back on. It's already been proven on here by a very reputable member that his EGT's dropped over 100 degrees when he put his EGR back on. That's a good thing ;)
FYI, my cousin had probs on his supra with the HKS BOV (not a knockoff)...
I think the key word here is "money" ;)
FYI, my bigger spearco replica and DIY kit with all reduction couplers and 90 degree bend couplers with clamps needed cost a tad over $500.00
The oil will come in a compressed can just like the R134a does.
I'm not certain on the amount of refridgerant needed in a supra, but in most cases xxoz. will=xxpsi with AC on max and car running IF you have a good vacuum.
