Agreed, it's only a punch setup if you have the proper sheet of gasket material..
You could probably cut one out with a razor blade but it won't be near as pretty.

Jack up the front end of the car and turn the wheels from lock to lock 3 times then check the fluid level again. It shouldn't foam either.
Why not just switch over to is300 coils with a dh61 igniter?
You could also leave the CPS at 10 BTDC as to keep it as safe as possible for stock electronics.
I think that design comes with the fact that these are high flow/low pressure oiling systems.
I've seen oiling system modifications like better oil cooler setups that are thermostat controlled along with oil pump shimming but nothin like what you're talking about. Im curious to learn more.
