If you got an adapter flange to mate up the turbine inlet/outlet and hooked your intercooler piping up to the compressor outlet, why wouldn't it work? It would be the same as installing any other turbo at that point.

Told you that it wasn't possible for 2500. I've been there and done that, tried to limit myself to a budget only to find that what I was hoping for only covered the 'main parts' and not the stuff that hides itself til you need it.
With a walbro 255 or bigger, you need to run an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator as the stock one doesn't flow enough. Since the stock FPR doesn't flow enough, it builds more pressure in the rail than needed.
