Most of the problems you'll encounter with a 7m are 99% owner problems, whether it's PO's or current.
I don't think you could swap in a 2j and turbo it for the cost of rebuilding the 7m and hitting 300 rwhp.
There's no nut on the lex afm housing except the ones that hold the stock plastic intake box on the end but there is an adjustment screw.
Why did you drill the cap out if you're still running stock boost?
HX40 7 blade will get you close to 500 bhp with the proper supporting mods. They can cost anywhere from 200-400 in good condition and will last if treated right.
Its only 4 pieces. One connects to the turbo with a slight bend going to the pipe that looks like an L then you've got the piece that comes through the fender and the other replaces the 3000 pipe.
550 and stock housing would be insanely rich. Lexus afm electronics are the same as the 7mgte, the housing is what's different. Its 25% larger than stock.
Try checking the car for codes.
There's your problem, you went to a ford dealer asking for help to repair a vehicle.
I'd get the diff pulled and find out why an 'worn out diff' it grabbing harder than they did from the factory.
You'll have to weld on a 3" v-band as the one on there is 2 5/8". I was just going to get it turned in the lathe then slip fit a steel v-band on and weld it in place.
I'd called Aaron on the matter of the manifolds before and IIRC he said he does order them as a batch from china but he's made some changes when he orders them such as moved divider and the wastegate flange location/clocked correctly.
