I put in a couple poly bushings. Got the fronts done last week, and finished the rear left today. One more wheel!

It increases the spring pressure on the oil pressure relief valve. This will do two things: Increase "max" oil pressure, and increase overall oil pressure. This is because a spring is not a solenoid, so it will open before the "max" pressure.
Just happened to me not too long ago. Found out whoever did the clutch last left out one of the washers (the big plastic one that is against the pp.) I'm willing to bet that's what caused it.

I honestly don't care for the W58. To me it feels like I'm just moving around a lever not attached to anything. With an R154, I KNOW i'm changing gears. I KNOW when I am in gear. I love how "clunky" the transmission is for some odd reason. I think it makes it feel more beefy

Did you blow off an intercooler pipe? That sounds like what mine did when I blew mine off.
