It increases the spring pressure on the oil pressure relief valve. This will do two things: Increase "max" oil pressure, and increase overall oil pressure. This is because a spring is not a solenoid, so it will open before the "max" pressure.

There sure is a stock spot on 91s and 92s. The factory 6.5 speaker mounts have a spot for a ~1 inch tweeter right at the top.
