No, I dont know who this is. I just thought I would post up a 2jz-ge for CHEAP - maybe somebody needs one for their NA-T swap project.
Edit: one more but this one has 133k miles on it - I would do a bearing check/change first. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=410783...
Its funny when people say, "Cheap, fast, reliable - pick two" because they dont realize that "cheap" doesnt mean "inexpensive". What it means is "shitty quality".
A harbor freight hammer will pound the nail just like a hammer at Lowes, but it will save you 15 bucks!
On the 7MGTE its easier to adjust with it off of the car. There is a long detailed procedure for it. As for the 1jz, I dont know for sure but it cant be too different from the 2jz which is illustrated on the attached pic
You can download the 2jz manual online - perhaps somebody can tell you...

I think I can help you with a couple of your problems....
- A WB is a wide-band oxygen sensor. The stock sensor is a "narrow band" sensor. All the WB sensor does is allows you to see EXACTLY what your air/fuel ratio is. However, in most cases it is only good for a gauge in your...
You rule brotha! Its nice to know that others see the light!:evil2:
Dramon on CNAT was talking about using the JDM TT ECU and just wiring the 7MGTE CPS into the place of the camshaft sensor.... He said that the output signals are the same, and it appeared to be so with the data he posted...
Dude - you consistantly try to argue with me about everything, and you dont know WTF you are talking about.
I dont claim to be the "allmighty all-knowing" engine guru who is never wrong, but when you were just a NOOB figuring out where your intake tube goes about a year ago -...
Well, most of the "JZ" arguments that I have seen have been about the 1JZ - not turbocharging the 2JZGE. Classifying it all as a "JZ" argument isnt really fair....
I can see the argument about the 1J with less displacement vs. the 7M with more torque, but the whole point of this is...
Not arguing - just posting some fact and real-world testimonials. If the link I posted showed another 7M running as well as X-Man's then you most certainly wouldnt have posted that.
Does the 97 come with the vvti block? Yeah - if the TT motor wasnt at LEAST 2k I would consider using it over the GE block. It would actually have to be about 1k before I would consider using it over the GE. Its just that GE cores are so cheap.....
Take a look in the other thread - there is a guy that says he has he has made a consistent 600+ hp with his 7M with stock internals. He says he is going to turn up his AEM and 1k injectors with a GT42 and see if it grenades or takes the punishment....
Perhaps running the stock block and just...
