    Nebraska/Iowa Supras

Midwest mudder, depending on your location I can come take a look at some supras with ya. I've essentially torn these cars down to bare metal several times, and I know where their problem areas are, lol Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk

What do you guys think of this intercooler design? ,':-|

You'd be right if the wastegate worked off of volume, but it doesn't. There needs to be pressure at the compressor outlet inorder for the wastegate to see pressure. Smaller pipes increase velocity.. larger pipes decrease velocity. Is this what you're referring to in your second paragraph...

I was ignoring that bit. But for the most part he's right. Same volume of air, larger pipe, lower pressure. There still won't be a pressure drop across the pipe though. But our wastegate will ensure that there will be more volume to fill the pipe. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk

It won't be the same volume of air.. the wastegate will make sure of that. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk

7M4EVR that is EXACTLY right. Well essentially. It's the same thing pre intercooler as well. Bigger pipes flow more but increase lag. If you take a pipe and put 10 psi in one end, what's the pressure at the other end? 10 psi.. If you double the pipes diameter and length.. and put 10 psi...

Looks a LOT better than when I saw it. Wanna learn how to buff? Something we could both learn! Haha Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk

There is zero pressure drop through piping... The longer/larger the piping the more lag. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk

    opinions on this deal?

It's not just them being in spec.. it's if the metal has been fatigued. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk

    opinions on this deal?

The 6th piston was probably melted.. and maybe it's just me but I wouldn't want to run pistons that were subjected to that kind of abuse.. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk

    Gettin' Low

I don't go that low.. my opinion is that if it's that low.. it's no longer a functioning car. Can't go over speed bumps.. scrape everywhere you go.. I'm dropped on eibachs and I still hate it sometimes. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk

    The Small Questions Thread

Temperature has a factor. I hit fuel cut at 11 psi in 30-40 degree air temps Also, the 57 will move way more air at 11 psi than a regular ct26. That's why you're hitting FC Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk

    Onceover.

I believe clockwise. So the breaker will need to be on the right side of the engine if that makes sense. If your subframe is setup for round mounts, you need round. Now is a decent time to get some replacements Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk

    Onceover.

Took me a 600+ftlb impact to get that sucker off. Took the handle off the jack and used that as a breaker bar.. brakes held hard with the trans in 5th... Still couldnt get it off without the impact. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk

Quick question about mustang wheels and bores.

I don't have any rings. Then again I'm not running mustang wheels, but the hub on my current wheels is way bigger than 60.1mm or whatever it's supposed to be. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk
