I was referring to peak torque, I was actually agreeing with you haha. But 280 in a 1j is pretty comparable to 280 in the Japanese 2js.. not too far from the 320 in American 2js.

Shit, I can make boost below 2000 rpm... Granted it's in 4th gear and only a pound or two but I can get full boost by 2500

Hp is a function of torque and rpm. 1jz doesn't rev that much higher than a 2jz, and hp can be comparable.. so the torque must be there

As a temp fix I chopped a piece of hose off of an old intercooler hose. That'll be my bushing until I can get some polys

Personally I'd just go for that 6.5" sub. Should get damn good midbass, and maybe even hit a couple of sub 40 Hz notes. Maybe ;)

I'll do the turbo swap for ya! Just pay for my brake lines I managed to break today while taking the front rotors off..
I also raised up the suspension in the rear, and rewired my CPS using weather pack connectors. Still need to make a battery hold down and get my coolant res mounted...
