Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3,...NOW FOUR!

A quick pick of the rust in the tire well. I have to find a donor car in the area that i can get this from. I cut a piece of plywood into a circle, and mounted it to the hold-down for the spare, and marked off the cut line. This way, i can do the same thing to the donor car, and end up with...

Well, looks like I'm out of the Supra scene

Sounds like you got what you wanted out of the car. Congrats on that.

Going to be rebuilding my diff soon, do I have everything for the rebuild?

You'll need an sst to get the axles out. They'll loan you the puller at autozone for free. As for the solid pinion spacer, it will take a couple tries to get the fitment right.

Yeah, no cuts or gouges in the plastic, and only one tab that's broken. And even that is just a break in the mounting hole, not a missing or torn tab. If I'm able to find the ducts that attach to it later on, great, but I'm not too worried about that.

Received my JZA70 front lip today, looks to be in pretty good shape. I thought it was coming from the Middle East, but it actually shipped from just north of Tokyo. Relieved that I actually got it, and it was in good condition, as the Ebay seller had zero sales feedback at the time that I...

    Project 88 MKIII - A Calgary build

That's a great looking find... But how much is this going to detract you from your current build? :)

So tonight, I just did a little bit of wiring work. Here, you can see the two finalized connections to the pump itself. Also, you can see how the original plug has been wired up as the trigger input to the relay: I put a grommet through the original fuel door, where all four wires will...

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

From what I read, you can still use the stock accordian. You can heat it up (carefully!) in the oven to about 150-200 degrees, then work it onto the afm.

    Looking for some Maft info

It will bump up. I never pushed the limits of the 550's on the MAFT, but I'm sure you could get close to 18psi.

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Yes... If our cars had been featured in a movie where an undercover cop flips the targa off while jammin down the highway, then I'd say that there would be a big market for sweet-fitting custom parts for our cars. Unfortunately, the red-headed stepchild of the Supra lineage took that role.

    powersteering+ other issues

Well, since he brought up brakes, steering and ac in THAT order, I'll cut him some slack. Most common leak point in the brakes system in my experience, is a caliper or its hose. Easiest way to check this is to drop onto your belly, and look at the inside sidewall of each tire. If one looks wet...

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Today I dropped the tank, removed the fake Walbro, and wired in an Aeromotive Stealth.

    Looking for some Maft info

To my knowlesge, a Profec and the MAFT system don't share any territory. One shouldn't contradict what the other is trying to do. What do you have as far as injectors? You won't be able to top ~14psi without larger injectors.

PS- I found out that my Walbro wasn't actually a Walbro. Apparently, I fell for a fake Walbro on Ebay. Regardless, it ran like a champ!

So today, I did indeed get into the fuel tank. Dropped it out, and started dealing with the fuel pump upgrade. Dirty tank: The pump hanger with the Walbro pump I installed about 8 yrs ago: Inside looks pretty good to me: Since I read that the Aeromotive Stealth pumps...
