ground the purple wire noob.. or hook it up to the brake switch...
was that the extra wire you were talking about (i think you said the P&P harness though)
yea just grind the PS bracket.. its not too hard.. a bench grinder and you're good to go
you will have to remove the upper rear stud though. I sealed up the port on the 7m top plate, but it isn't needed. I've done 3 1jzs with a/c and I just moved the stud to the lower bolt position instead...
werd.. my old 2jz swapped car had a/c and ps.. I had a custom PS line (DM line or MKIV works though) and the 7m top plate and a/c lines. Worked flawless
You need a wideband or to dyno your car to give you the air/fuel ratio. Once you have that ratio adjust the AFC so the ratio is ~ 11.5 in boost.
Honestly though, take it to a local tuner and have it tuned for you.
If the injector doesn't spray fuel, then there is no Lean condition. There is...
iirc it actually cuts the fuel injectors rather then spark, thats why the dual term of fuel cut or boost cut..
Best way to raise fuel cut is to get a AFC. The cheapest route is to get the Greddy BCC or HKS FCD. But watch your boost. Dont over boost too much. I wouldn't run more then 15 psi...
if thats how you run your car around town, do it. Dont stress over the finaly numbers too much (unless they're abnormally low for whatever reason) but more of they're all equal.
IIRC it looks like you advanced the exhaust cam quiet a bit and retarded the intake cam? i might be backwards...
to be honest.. i had a mbc and it didn't work as well as shims for those low boost levels. Of course it was a cheapie ebay one, but it seemed to spike a little and occasionally hit fuel cut on fast shifts going down the 1/4.. with the shims it didn't hit fuel cut and boost was solid.
werd.. My 2jz w/ the big ass 4" thick intercooler ran hot on the interstate with the a/c on full blast.. Never switched to the mech fan to see if it'd fix it but I assume it would.. My solution was just keep it at 75-77 rather then 65 so the a/c would switch off every once in a while and let it...
what are your mods?
It took 4 washers on each bolt to get me 10 psi falling to 7 psi with STOCK exhaust,dp,cat, and intake after I put an exhaust on, it hit fuel cut instantly, I pulled all but 1 out and it ran 10-11 psi
