if they dont go in my hand/a little force, there wrong.
we redid all of my bushings, and once you beat the inner sleeve out, it goes in like butter. double check to make sure you got the correct part.
if your head was warped badly before you replaced the gasket, then i could believe it...
and when you say "2 stages" your talking about the head bolts? and you did at least replace them with OEM toyota ones right? also when you do the head gasket, i torque over 3 or 4 runs across them... not two.
i just watched it at my friends house! that shit was hilarious! beer can gasket FTMFW!!!
too bad the chevelle was a fuckin lead foot the last round... hahaha blew his chances right out the window once he got the front end up...
Turbo > N/A theres a reason there not in formula 1 anymore...
i would try and beat it out from the inside first... you cant do much wore then it is unless you hit somewhere that the dent isnt...
but i dont see why a shop couldnt fix that for under/around $600...
you could just throw some exhaust clamps where the resonator was, or even flange it, so that way you can change it back to how it was if you want.
i want a loud exhaust, all im doing is a 24'' 3''in/out resonator that i bought for my last car, and then it'll be straight piping out the back...
or just use our head... it makes sense to me...
although, dont diesel trucks use like 20w50 or something crazy like that? i know its a whole different engine... but i just find it funny...
where did you buy the stuff for the harness? and how much did you spend?
autozone rotors work fine for me, i scare people with how fast i stop sometimes. i have porterfield RS4 pads though...
we should all write to redline and demaind a "cooking oil" forumla... hahaha it would make even the worst meals taste great!!!! :biglaugh:
if you do the math for redline, it doesnt cost that much per change... especially if you take it to 8,000 miles with a filter change at 4... you get two...
thats like my friend said he was told to put 15w50 in his brand new 07sti... i dont see the point of an oil that thick... if anything doesnt it HURT your performance?
shooting black smoke = wayyyy too rich
which meant your air was going somewhere besides in your engine... your car might be ok now... and like suprastanger said, go get some cheap copper spark plugs.
did you really pay 1100 for a supra with a seized engine?????
paint perfect? interior/exterior perfect? super low milage? what was the point of spending that much???
when i rebuilt my eclipse, i didnt just jump right onto the interstate... i drove it around town, going in and out of boost, and i was even going up to 14psi on a fresh motor... i think the car had been on the highway once or twice... but it was taken to "highway speeds" regularly... it passed...
Im shooting for anything below 9:1 as i have the probe pistons, and supposedly they up the compression a little, i would rather have a lower compression motor so in the end i can run more power on pump gas, i may not have a ton of off boost power, but whatever...
i would say just get the...
