    the only problem is if you get lighter wheels, you normally get a wider rim, say an 8''/9'' in the front, and 9-11'' in the back... with those bigger rims, you put bigger tires, which weigh more... just something to think about. When i weighed my stock saws with 225 kumoh's it was around...

    the one i borrowed for $20 cost the original owner 460ish i believe... its more the waterjet cutting time and what not because its so thick.

    isnt it more for aftermarket forged pistons? because they have such a close tolerance that if it gets too big then you wont seat the rings 100%... i talked to IJ about it and he explained it to me why you should use one. Stock Motor - No big deal Forged Motor - Spend the money At...

    I used google to search "auto machine shops" "automotive machine shops" and other such terms... also if you do find one, punch the name into google and see what turns up, and a shop with a website usually means they do pretty good work.

    Why is BIC so expensive though...? Aluminized steel is pretty cheap, espeically compared to stainless, and if you order enough, i would think you could get an even better deal for it... Do his come with a lifetime warranty against cracking?

    carbon hood ?

    I dont think that stuff would work on the hood, especially right above the turbo, but if your turbo's EGT's are getting up to i think its 900C, then i think it would burn off... Better off in the long run ceramic coating the inside and outsite, and possibly making a really thick heatshield.
