    I don't THINK this is a repost...

hahahahaha, I just spit Crown and Coke at my screen! I couldn't help but see Jay in that picture. I'm just glad he cut his hair and sold the Z28. I see no similarities to Vonda in that pic though.

    Really weird Starting Problem

For a little while now, I have been dealing with a really weird starting issue. For th most part, the car does fine. I have had an Optima Red Top battery in it that was almost new (2-3 months of use). It will start fine for 2-3 days, and all of the sudden decide that it does not want to start. I...

    I don't THINK this is a repost...

Damn all the comments on that great post. None of them carried a single picture. I have to go back and fish the list, but when I got to this picture, I had to stop and ask................ Is this a really a very bad picture of Vonda? Or did Jay ever have a mistress?

Can anyone help me diagnose my Altima problem?

OK, I have failed to keep promises with you guys. I appreciate the help though. I did the family thing all day yesterday, and didn't get a chance to touch it. Today, I went out and made a video of the car, and also made some pictures of some parts for sale. I came in to upload the video and...

    My 1991 Jay Blue Supra

Honestly, the hose at the back of the head would be one of the easiest things to fix in the rear of the motor. If it is anywhere along the metal piping that runs around the motor, it will be hard to get to. If it is like mine, and the pipe going into the car driver side in messed up, you will be...

Might be outta the game. Is there near Hagerstown MD that know supra's?

Please tell me that you fifn't forget to get a EGR cooler at the back of the head before the install!!!! Or, are you going without an EGR? If you do, try to locate a JDM ECU to run without it.

Should we give Spaniard a 2nd chance?

I had read his posts before meeting him, and met him at CHI2K7. I found him to appear much more mature in person than his online personality would suggest. He seemed to be a very mature, and somewhat more knowledgeable guy than I thought he would be. I have been shocked to see the problems get...

supramaniacs, help me plan my build

You will see the "Search" word thrown around a bit by some of those who feel they have seen a question 100 or more times too many, but you won't find a better car forum. A build thread is a great way to get the answers you want. For me I found that I could throw out my ideas, and either get...

I was surprised at the simplicity of testing ignition parts while following the TSRM. Even I could do it:naughty:

    Roundfinger's Refurb...making things right again

X2 if I came over. I would love to come help, but can't promise I'll be a lot of help. I'll check the schedule closer to next weekend, and let you know. I'm getting older then, and I'm sure the family will want to do something. I just don't know when.

Can anyone help me diagnose my Altima problem?

I'm gonna fire up the compressor, and see if I can get a reading on the gauge. That was the first thing I thought, and I quickly tried to see if I could dislodge it, but it seemed OK to me. I bought the tester a couple of months ago, and used it once. It should be OK, but you never know.

I need some internet detectives please!

Another +1 for that method. Blocking a number will only work long enough for the perpetrator to find another phone.

Can anyone help me diagnose my Altima problem?

When I crank the car, it doesn't show any signs of any compression in any cylinder. I did notice one very faint backfire, but it really just sounds like an electric motor running when I turn the key. I will pull the valve cover again tomorrow, and check out the camshafts. That would be...

Can anyone help me diagnose my Altima problem?

I have a 2000 Nissan Altima that I can't figure out. I was driving this car with no problems, and had to slam on brakes. At that time, the car went dead, and has never started again. When I turn the key, it sounds like a small electric motor is running, but doesn't even sound like a motor...

Who's going to Texas with us?

It was a joke V! We'll find something to eat that's for sure. Now, I have Jay to task on his serious comment in the other thread. How can he take anything serios while using that hilarious new avatar?

Who's going to Texas with us?

Grilled chicken, fries, and garlic bread! Where in Texas can we find that? Hell, Vonda was sending everybody chocolate........just send me a plate, I'll reheat it.

What color should I paint it?

Unless you are planning on totally taking the car apart, and making sure the original paint is never seen again through any crack, I'd say a fresh coat of that original color would be best. To me, nothing looks worse that a nice black paint job that shows it used to be white, or gay blue or...

    ? on removing some int.

It is fairly simple. It almost all revolves around the center piece. On the end of that panel, closest to the door, there are two clips that just pop loose. Pop that end loose, and slide that panel out. There are two flat pieces of metal that hold that back end of it in place with no screws or...

How many cars or trucks have you owned?

I noticed this as I looked back through this thread. I'm old, so bear with me here, I might forget a couple. 42 now, bought my first car at 15 with money from my job of 3 years. 14 67 Mustang (Loved it!) 67 Mustang (Restored Show car) 73 Pinto Station Wagon (for 289 swap, but quickly...
