It only takes a few of these ebay experiences to teach you. For me it was the XTD clutch scam and the fake PTE injectors. Both were brought to light just after my purchase. I will no longer be using ebay for anything but stock parts. They can sometimes be found for the starting price on there.

MKIII's do not rust like the MKII's did. I've seen some rust in MKIII's, but nothing like the rust bucket most MKII's are. Also, the rear ends in the MKIII are much stouter. I'd go MKIII, but MKII is still a nice car if in good shape.
