that 1.15 backhousing is way to big for a street car. I the bigger the backhousing the more "upstairs" a turbo have, More power in the higher rpm, but it takes longer to build boost. If you plan on running that turbo i would switch it to a smaller exhaust side backhousing, a .81 is more like...
be4 that i would wanna swap boost controller, put mine in first and see wat happens, could just be a fault boost solenoid for the evc. And its ez to do. Just to cancel out the boost controller and then we can do a boost leak test. im free mon - thursday after 1pm just call me
nah even with that big turbo under load it should go way past 15lbs no problem.
may not reach full boost in 1rst gear but in 3rd and 4th under load u should def see way more than 15lbs.
Wat are you using to control boost? Are the boost controller lines hooked up correctly and not reversed...
build your self a boost leak tester and test your piping. But yea bro that turbo is no where near wat it can do, even tho its ebay i say turn the boost up to 20 and see wat happens, you have the supporting fuel mods for it?
I brought my baby i today for an alignment since i never got one after i installed the eibach springs.

wat was your mph? we pretty much have the same mods, Stock 7m, ct 26, spiking 12-14lbs, bic ddp and full 3" I was on stock intercooler, and stock intercooler piping and ran 14.0 flat with a horrible 2.4 60ft
yea it was my first time ever on the dragstrip with a 5spd car. So i kno more practice is needed. My first pass ever was 2.4 and then on the second it dropped to 2.2. and when i was gonna really launch it, it prolly wouldve been 2.0 or 1.9 but as i said the clutch gave up. I realized that i can...
I've read and have been doing a little bit of research on clutch choices for going down the strip.
Some say stick to the oem clutch disk and a stronger aftermarket pressure plate.
Others say go full aftermarket pressure plate and clutch disk, and then you have the options of sprung...
