Anyone know how long an HKS mushroom filter is? I just got a new stock accordion hose and my K&N filter is too long to fit in the corner with my 3" IC piping.
The 1988+ Isuzu Trooper 4 cylinder 2.6 liter engine (4ZEL) uses the same belt as the Toyota 1JZ engine. So instead of getting a belt from Japan (~$100) you can pick up an Isuzu Trooper belt locally at an auto parts store for about $30 US. Make Sure You Get The 4 Cylinder 2.6 Litre Engine Belt...
I'm running without an IAC. It's alright, doesn't hold an idle very well if it's extremely cold or there is a high humidity. I'd keep it if I could, I'm reinstalling one on my car soon.
What part of the world do you live in? If it often gets really cold where you live, I'd recommend you keep it.
What the hell spools faster than a CT26? Honestly, is all the effort and money spent on this worth the small change?
Just get those cams, it'll improve everything you're looking for.
That GTO was an LS2. LS1s are 5.7s, LS2s are 6.0s. GM only used the LS1 for the first year, IIRC.
I don't like the sound an LS1 makes. LT1>LS1 as far as that goes, IMO.
I think a stock turbo Supra in good condition would be a great car. Honestly, a few wastegate shims and a 3" turbo back and you're well over 250rw and that doesn't even cost $500. You should be able to keep up with a stock LT1 Camaro at that point.
I'm not even fully BPU yet and I put about two...
I do that to my GF every day, I'm not even kidding.
I stay up an extra two or three hours to get my Supra fix, but only when my car isn't running...
It's not running
Have you tried replacing the starter? I know the previous owner of my car had an NA that had starter trouble, I still have the metal rod he used to beat on it with! lol
Give your starter a whack and see if it starts.
51, dunno if it applies to Supras but I don't see why not, I just googled check engine light code toyota. Are you using a manual ECU?
Check to make sure your coil pack is plugged in, then start checking voltage at the coils.
Check your injector clips, after 20 years they get pretty brittle...
