Can't believe it hasn't been asked yet--this gonna be ready for 2k10???
J/K :) Looks like it's got some potential, looking forward to the final outcome!
My buddy Josh (#2, I'm Josh #1 :) ) came over last night and helped me fix my broken passenger's seat bolt (mentioned in a post by Jon in like 2008 haha) and fix up my rear brakes. New pads, lines, and a fresh bleed should be great for road racing :)
Also noticed alot of oil on my right rear...
Thanks everyone!
JMC-just added a little oil at first and then topped it off a couple times after running it for a while until the dipstick showed the right amt. Ended up being ~2qts, not sure if it was low or not before tho. I'm going to change the oil in a couple days so I should have a...
Looks like you're having fun with oil and power steering lines too :) Build looks awesome! Seems you suffer from the same distraction issues I do, although for me it's motorcycles instead of snowmobiles...
Been a while since an update, been busy with other stuff but I've recently started prepping for 2k10, specifically road racing. Got my rx7 oil cooler and a power steering cooler installed after much head scratching (I have a lot of crap in my engine bay for my fuel system) and muscle use due to...
Not sure on the Lucas injectors, if they're designed for domestic applications (camaros mustangs etc.) then these o-rings should work. I know they work for Delphis as that's what I have.
This is on a '93 ge rail, will also work on the 7MGTE rail. On the intake runner side you can use the...
Lots of good info posted, I'd definitely go standalone for that power level. Only way I'm able to get away with the 7M ECU and a $100 SAFC is because I'm running E85. Even then I had to put my base timing at 0 degrees and am probably on the ragged edge...
We'll see how well it works after...
Long as it's the same type (heated vs not) and has the same number of pins you're good. I'm using a screw-in sensor from an '89 Mustang GT on my car, just had to splice the plugs in...
As mentioned before, should work, and work well!
I'm putting down 533rwhp with just the SAFC and 880cc injectors, but I'm cheating a little and running E85 :)
Thanks! It took some work but it ended up fitting well. Def a little more restrictive than having it open, I'm seeing 1-2psi more on my low boost setting (now ~20psi)...
Another knock sensor on the way, hopefully have it before the cruise on Saturday and can fix this issue once and for all!
My buddy Jimmy made me a WG dump last night, came out pretty good and should direct any future fire outside of the engine bay :)
Yup, couple times, routed the first set too close to my old sandwich plate and melted 'em :) All the wiring checked out ok, tried my spare ECU and thought I was in the clear but the CEL came on again after about 50mi of driving. Thinking it's the rear sensor as I just swapped the front one to...
I wouldn't say the NA-T is harder than a 1jz swap, definitely alot less wiring. 9.2:1 c/r is fine as long as you keep the boost under 15psi on pump (depending on turbo size), I'm running 22psi on my high setting but that's with 105 octane E85...
Have to check the TSRM :) Wondering if it had something to do with the conflagration event last week, knock sensor wiring runs right next to where my o2 sensor wiring was on fire lol...
Minor breakthrough last night, mainly in driveability. I've always had issues with my idle afr and cruise being all over the map at times, realized last night that the retention clip holding the signal pin in both my o2 sensor plug and harness side plug were broken possibly causing some signal...
