    Project Super Celica

Looks like a cool build, subscribed! Just got back from the $2009 challenge a few weeks ago, it's an awesome event!

    1jz, 1.5jz, 2jz-gte, 2jz na-t

Yea, stock HG should be good to ~8psi, I'd run a TT HG for anything above that...

    2JZ NA-T into MK3

Just run about 15psi more boost and you'll be good :)

Yup stock fuel with 7M injectors at first, was good at 8-10psi on the MP T70, blew my HG trying to run 12psi :) No dyno, rough estimate would be ~300rwhp but that's just a guess. The MP turbo is great for the price, I bought mine used and had to have it rebuilt because the oil seal went out...

Jon's 1989 1JZ single turbo restoration and build: Stellllllaaaaa!

Between 2 car projects, a bike project (soon to be 2), and a partially demo'd master bathroom I need a few more things to work on... It's actually for Courtney's son (that's what I'm claiming at least), he mentioned he wanted to build a go kart and I found a frame on CL cheap thanks to my newly...

    2JZ NA-T into MK3

Here's mine for comparison sake, maybe the 7M ECU doesn't suck as much as I thought it did :) You definitely have alot more potential than me, I'm at the upper end of what you can do with a hacked stock ECU! DYNORUN.001: 99.02 °F 29.11 in-Hg Humidity: 23 % SAE: 1.05 Average Gear Ratio: 51.26...

Lookin good! I might be up your way tonight picking up a go kart frame, you gonna be around? Like to stop by and check out the progress, promise not to park in Kyna's spot this time :)

    1jz, 1.5jz, 2jz-gte, 2jz na-t

I'll put my vote in for 2jzge NA-T on 7M electronics :) My initial swap (pre-E85 fuel system etc.) ran me less than $4k including a clutch, exhaust, and some other non-swap specific stuff and was a blast at 8psi on stock fuel. The 2j runs well off the 7M electronics and with E85 and a beefed...

    2JZ NA-T into MK3

Congrats!! Pretty scary that the strap broke, the elevated dynos are always a little scary anyways...

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

Got the Supra back up and running Saturday and it was almost down again for a really long time... Last thing you want to hear when someone pulls up next to you is "hey! your car is on fire!!" Let this be a lesson to anyone as reTard as me that didn't run a wastegate dump because...

Good to see the car coming back together and the job situation working out! Hopefully she'll stay together this time and we can meet up again at 2k10! We're having another cruise here in Austin 11/14-15 if you can make it down, hoping to have my car back up and running again for it...

    GRM $2009 Project DeathBox

Work got in the way of posting this yesterday, finally got through my 120 emails so here goes... The challenge was a blast, lots of cool cars and a ton of like-minded cheap individuals. The 36hr drive was a little rough but having a 15 passenger van helped, plus we had time to plan out next...

The $2008 Grassroots challenge build-up thread

Said it a few times before, but awesome job guys! The car looked even more phenomenal in person, definitely doing the MKIII community well! Looking forward to seeing what you guys bring next year...

    GRM $2009 Project DeathBox

Team Phostiva is headed back to Texas. We had a blast at the challenge and placed 14th overall out of 57 cars, much better than anticipated! Our last minute $30 drag radial purchase paid off and we were able to pull a 14.2@103mph before our boost solenoid crapped out and we couldn't soft...

The $2008 Grassroots challenge build-up thread

The cps must have worked, aside from looking awesome (badass job on the paint guys!) it was running low 14s in the drag comp yesterday. Hope you guys have a safe (and less eventful) trip back, Team Phostiva is headed back to TX this morning...

    GRM $2009 Project DeathBox

There's no bumping and banging in the GRM challenge, you must be thinking of 24hrs of Lemons. We just have to run an autox course and drag race!
