my car has been acting really wierd lately and im either geting a fuel cut or boost cut or somthing like that right at around 10psi....a while back i backed out the air screw in the AFM to help prevent fuel cut.. i was then able to boost up to 15 psi... and a few weeks ago it just started cuting...
so one day i was just messin around with the steering wheel to see if the wheel would come off.. never got it off or did anything major with it... then the turn signals decided they didn't want to work the next day.. and they still dont.. checked the fuse and its still good... any ideas...
ok, anybody know how to take the stock steering wheel off? or do any parts of it come off.. i have a 87 btw... also what about the E-brake handle? does it come off, if so how? i tried unscrewing it and no luck..
so when ever i turn the wheel all the way to the right and i start to go forward or back wards i hear a very loud clanking noise from the front right wheel.. no clue what it is.. sounds realy bad tho like somthing snaped or broke.. but it happens every time and other than that drives just...
no charcoal cannister can cause that.. you need one. also no filter on the afm will cause very very wierd idles.. i had the same thing when i had my filter off..
what would gray smoke out of the exhaust mean while im boosting? burning oil? cause the shop that changed my oil said the car had very very low oil in it,, and there is no oil leak that is visible.
ok well the filter i have on it now is a few months old and thats the one the car likes... when it was totaly closed up i had a brand new and larger filter on it and it didn't like it at all.
