yes turbo was primed properly.. i dont have the lex afm and 550s yet.. but im not running much boost with it anyway... will the lex afm and 550s get rid of the fuel cut?
so i just got my 60-1 turbo on... car wouldnt boost past 5psi, i would hit fuel cut or somthing at 5psi,,, then i drove it at night and i was able to boost 7-8psi on it no cut. then i blew out a rubber coupler, went home fixed that then i was able to hit 10 psi but i hit fuel cut at 10psi...
ya i got it and car is running!!! and wow its awsome.. only boosted 5psi so far and its equal to like 10-12 psi on the old turbo,, cant wait to try 10 on this new turbo :) also no oil leaks or other leaks so far, all is well. luckily
OK GOOD NEWS!! i found that the ALT 100A fuse box thing is blown... would that cause the problem??? and how in the world does it come out?? going to get a new one.
ok some to add to the stuff that works,, i have head lights, brights, cig lighter, and hazards, NOTHING ELSE!! no brake lights or anything. i really need some advice guys.
ok so i just got done installing my 60-1 turbo.. car has been sitting for the week while i worked on it.. i pulled the efi fuse so i could crank the engine to get the oil presure up to prime the turbo... to my suprise i turned the key and nothing, also i dont have any power like no dash lights...
just wondering if anyone had an exact size for the socket on the stock head bolts?? i need to get a tourqe wrench and allen key socket to check the tourqe on them
so far project is coming along nicely!! :) went and bought some gasket material to make gaskets for the turbo oil feed and coolant lines. all i have to do is put the car back together and im also geting a tourque wrench to check the tourqe on the head bolts to see what there set at. :S
im working on puting in my new 60-1 turbo,, and i cant get the stock one out.. how do you get the oil drain off?? do you disconnect it from the block or from the bottom of the turbo? and i cant seem to reach the bolts
ya i had it back in and still have fuel cut.. i'll check for a boost leak agian.. the 60-1 Ct is going to be here on monday and i'll be putting that in.. i just want to get rid of this problem so i can boost the 60-1 with out hitting the "brick" wall..lol thats what it feels like.
ok thanks.... ya the screw doesn't have anything to do with it i dont think.. cause that helped me get rid of boost cut before, now i'v got other problems, so most likely boost leak somewhere.
