Get the ARP bolts instead of the studs..... especially trying to put the head on the block while it's still in your car, save yourself some time. They are cheaper, and easier to use, and will work as good as studs for you. And yes the studs and bolts will hold the same amount of power, the...

I beg to differ. It's just that easy, slap the 1JZ head on a 2JZ block. If it's a 2J-GE block, then you have small issues, but nothing a 2.5mm headgasket and a set of taps/drill bits can't cure. Too bad you got a VVTi engine. 500RWHP max without meth is pushing it for the 550's IMO on...

All that dirt, rust, coolant, scrapped gasket, pieces of grime, and other junk make it down to your oil pan during the BHG repair. Like drowning your engine with degreaser and letting it seep past the rings, or into another orafice without taking the time to clean it all up before putting it...

On a turbo motor, lift is what I'd pay more attention to when buying cams. I forget what you can actually fit in the 7M head before you have do machine work...

I always thought it was normal after long hard runs.

Cut harness isn't bad. Just pull the clips you want out of the harness and bam, no wires to find or colors to compare. Put it on, measure, solder, and cover.

Um..... Those shocks.... yeah.... I am waiting on springs. I tried to get some eibachs but they are discontinued or something. I had issues, so I went with some suspension techniques. As soon as they get here this week, I'll put the springs on. The car is literally slammed right now...
