I buy the cheapest shit I can find and put some Lucas in it.
Come on, I can see with how thick helps the transmission mechanically, but what is in the name? Tranny oil is tranny oil. Does it matter who made it?
I am cast from the MKIII crowd forever, and the MKIV guys never accept my MKIII for what it is. It would be called a bastard at best, and forget to know a place among other enthusiasts because you upgraded the entire engine...?
I voted no.
Well I got ripped for shipping on this last motor. The guy I bought it from shipped it for like, 600lbs for just the engine, I was like WTF!!! I paid about $300 shipping from Illinois to Alabama, so my guess is it will cost about the same for a 300 pound engine to go to california from ohio...
what is the max RPM for these? I would guess they support 9,000 rpms stock? This also includes the spark quality with a good coil, etc...
Yeah, this is just a question about the distributor. I searched and found nothing.
Is there anyone who's gone turbo, or makes high HP who cranks...
It's not going to bother anything. It does not change performance at all (unless it's used of course). Not really worth the trouble of removing unless you sleep better knowing it's gone.
It is another thottle body in front of another throttle body.
Like if you do a burnout, you'll have less HP, instantly. If only it worked the other way around.
Just to say something about Cartech, they were one of the first companies to offer upgrades for the MKIII in the US, and they made awesome products in their day.
I have their intercooler upgrade, it's a perfect fit same as stock, with obvious quality.
With a boost controller and upgraded...
I have the pics, but I'm too tired.... I have a ATI one "made for a 2JZ", a stock unit, fluidyne, Egay all next to each other. I took pictures of the diameter of the belt part with a ruler in case anyone wants to know.
Pics will be up later today after I take a nap.
