I had 550's with my TD06 kit. I had to run 55PSI due to me using an FMU style FPR.
I loved it, and I still think the TD06 has more than 360RWHP. How's the condition of the turbo?
93. But how much BOOST is 2 octane worth on the same turbo, say a 57-60 trim CT-26?
Sure you can push 360RWHP on 91, but can you do it with 87? No one has tried, but I'm willing to believe it is very possible and not dangerous at all with a stock ECU.
But I'm not trying that shit!
To add, I made 360RWHP@12PSI with the same turbo, lex/550/walbro. I also took the 20G to 28PSI. It was fun for that split second Damned wastegate line blew off, and no detonation thanks to my injectors running at 55PSI base with a 3:1 FMU........... anyway.
JCF, here's your dyno for the...
It was 450RWHP@18PSI.
I think there's something else wrong with the tuning part of it. Timing sounds way off, and also you're using an automatic, but still...
How's the compression?
Get a C's. Both my Supras have them, the other "short shifters" are crap for the precise machining of the C's.
You can ALWAYS sell the C's for more than half of what you paid easy because they are sold so seldom.
I recommend Megasquirt. It's all you need unless you're going to build a race car, and will definately give you 500RWHP easy depending on turbo selection.
You'll need a LOT more with the AEM to get working, and for the price of a new PFC, you can have a Megasquirt II AND buy a laptop, and...
Well to sum up the event...
Rain, and the drift event continued, it was slower because of the wet track, but it was still FUN.
My buddy Tao won the event. The car show was kinda lame though...
The dampers cancel out the small viscious vibrations. For example, you have solid motor mounts, and say the engine feels smooth.
Next time the engine is on the dyno under load, put your hand/finger/object on the block or head, and you should feel the vibrations. That's what the damper...
