He has two. The first is a 1990 944. (That thing isn't worth my gas to race) Then second is the 997. Before that, he had a 2006 911 Turbo. That wasn't enough so he traded it in on the 997. Yeah, he paid a LOT for that car!

I bought a "40k JDM" 7MGTE from an outfit in Boise. Here's the quick and dirty of how that went. 1st Engine Received = Had been run low on oil and had a destroyed head, cams, cam journals, etc... I sent it back. 2nd Engine Received = Had a BHG on #6 and destroyed rod bearings on that...

To OP: A bad O2 Sensor is rough on your gas mileage. An O2 Sensor shorted to ground will ruin your day too. I would replace what you know is bad and go from there.
