    Its not the act of moving the throttle body down the pipe but rather the smoothing out of the bend into the manifold as a result of it not pushing the bends further over the engine that I was wondering about. The end question would be more what negitive side effects would come from relocating...

    Progressive means the springrate changes as the spring is compressed, you can see this visually on the coil typically by seeing that there are greatly varying distances between the coils at different sections.

    Yes you can switch over without problem so long as you intend to switch out the rear tail lights aswell.

    ^ Clearly you've never seen Dragracer's car, it can be done and with great success. Retrospec is comming out with a raised cowl hood. It would look far better than a tacky bolt on cowl espcially ontop of an existing cowl. If you dont want to buy another hood there is a tutorial on here...

    Nice car buddy, I recall that one being onsale on kijiji for awhile. One of the rare few tastefully modified ones locally. Good to have another active local. Where in NS are you around? Halifax I assume like 70% of the rest of us.

    I'd go 2jz, because like other people have stated in the long run 3 > 2.5 and you cant argue with that. And as for the same hp point, theres something to be said for powerband aswell and not just peak.

    I'd say you'd need to get something to switch it over to a MAP setup and eliminate the lexus maf which is likely causing the problems, or like you said step the injectors down to 550cc to match the lex afm. You could either get an hks VPC and tune it with your SAFC, the tricky part to that...
